sounds like any other RPG out there. its really not MK's style. next thing you know, they will have an amnesiac as the protagonist, give him some party members, and have him/her level up. MK's not like that... they're more straight to the point. "use this character, take him through the story and don't argue with his decisions, so that we don't have trouble making the story a canon by letting the player choose for him." no offense dude. maybe if midway made another game and put that in, and not put it in the MK franchise...
