In the game? No thanks. Not worth it to even make a model for her as that takes time and it would be for just a cameo, so nope.

As others said, there are so many things you would have to change to make her interesting that you would basically have to start a new character from zero.

I don't see what the problem is. Kira has one of the most standout backstories, a cunning, sharp and ruthless personality, connections to quite a few other characters (that would inevitably have to be rewritten and retconned due to Kabal's death).

She could still well become a BD with traits of Kano, as long as NRS heavily diluted that and boosted her uniqueness. Don't have a problem with her appearance at all, since what we've seen of her so far wasn't OTT "sexy" and had a feeling of practicality. (Leather jackets and chaps, not bikinis with long pointless strips of material in between the legs.)

I like her but I don't want her to eliminate another interesting character slot but I hope she is in the game maybe even as a DLC. Cassie vs Kira could still happen guys.

Going to be honest here, I wouldn't care if they put Kobra in the damn game. As long as whoever they put in plays well I don't really care.

Same. I'm pretty much blow away with every character design that NRS releases in terms of play style. If they put Kira in or Kobra in I'm sure there would be something cool/redeemable about them. That said, as it stands now Kira's the type of character I just don't really care about. Its cool to have more members of the Black Dragon, but I'd almost rather have her go the way of Motaro or the more recent Moloch, with a cameo of doom.

Plus, with a mindset like yours, no characters who were once hugely hated would have ever returned. Because, you know, things aren't so simple that unpopular characters stay unpopular, or vice versa.

Anyway, yes, give Kira her own moveset. Keep her story mostly as it is, without the New Black Dragon part. I loved how she made Kobra her bitch, and I wouldn't mind that continuing.

I actively encourage them to bring in characters that got underutilized. Anzthing that makes the gamer move out of his or her confort field is good.

I liked Kira, I saw she had potential but the ball was dropped on her. I liked her look, but she needed her own move-set to become an individual character.

So I wouldn't necessarily mind Kira making a comeback so as long as she wasn't a carbon copy of other characters (Kano & Sonya). But i think she would be better off as a cameo character and leave the this slot for a new character in MKX.

Doesn't mean the next MK game she should be over looked. Between Kira and Kobra, Kira was better one of the newly formed Black Dragon.

Normally, I am of the mindset that nearly any character can be salvaged from a shitty debut. Kira, however, is an exception.

Visually, she has too much in common with Skarlet. They would need to change her hair color or outfit color, or both. She would also need a complete moveset overhaul.

Basically, they'd need to rebuild the entire character from scratch. With the amount of effort needed, they might as well just make a new character.

I wouldn't mind her being in and I feel like that for all the 3d characters because this is the perfect opportunity to make shitty characters seem relevant......

But like someone else stated I think she'll serve a better part of the story through the comics rather than the game.

I will never say never to any character as long as there is a chance for improvement.

Kira should have been ginger with the bob hairdo or pigtails in contrast to Skarlet discernibly staying as the longer haired red head. A black dragon brand of leather motorbike costume would be fitting for a outlaw brigand like Kira. It's not much, but this would of been a beginning to making them unalike and given Kira her own individual qualities.
