I wouldn't be for guest characters normally but Dante honestly seems to be an MK character. He would fit right in, I like him but I don't think he will make it unfortunately, WB rather put someone already well known like Jason or Spawn.

However I personally think it'll be Talion from Shadow of Mordor, First the game Middle-Earth:Shadow of Mordor did extremely well and it's fairly new, so people still know about it.

Second, it's owned by WB which makes legal matters of claiming the character and putting him in easy as hell.

Third, If I remember right Ed boon retweeted a few stuff about Shadow of Mordor.

But That's just me, It seems not a lot of people said this but I have a strong feeling it will be Talion, He will be one of the guest characters.

Dante is awesome, I loved DMC5. For all the reboots faults, it was still a TON of fun. So fingers crossed for Dante.

I actually prefer the rebooted Dante tbh.

I like him. He is much different than the original one, but I like him for what he is.

I know his chances aren't likely but I think gameplay wise, he could be a great guest character. Maybe its just me but if you have played the recent game his arsenal of weapons would make him an awesome character from a gameplay perspective in MKX, he has Rebellion, Arbiter, Eryx, Osiris, Aquila, and Ebony & Ivory which (IMO) could make him incredibly diverse.

Hell Dante may not be perfect but id pick him all day everyday over a lot of these other characters people are suggesting such as Mad Max lol

I am really rooting for Spawn too though.

If we're talking multi-plat vidya guests, I still stand by my words when I say they should bring Isaac Clarke from Dead Space. He's not relevant anymore though (thanks EA), so that would never happen.

I'm not all too familiar with Dante, simply never played the games and I only know who he is by reference and...what was that crossover fighting game? Was it Marvel vs Capcom?

But I'd be lying if I said you haven't sold me on the idea. I agree with you about Mad Max and I'm also rooting for Spawn (since it's gotta be somebody).

I guess I shouldn't jump yet though, since I only knew Kratos by name and as the God of War, but I thoroughly enjoyed him in MK9.

Hilarious! As for Dante, he was pretty fun to play as in UMvC 3 IMO, but that's just it he's a Capcom character. I wonder if there'd be any hassle to get a deal for him with Capcom and Marvel's previous existing relationship.

I hate guest characters, and at this point the only one I'll accept for MKX is either Predator or a Star Wars character (Darth Maul would be amazing).
