It's either Reptile's human alt (possible), a totally different Reptile outfit, or Chameleon. I'll go for the third option

I think it's Chameleon and that Chameleon will be Kotal Kahn's "fallen ally".

I could see a rivalry between the two, with Chameleon allying with Kotal Kahn and Reptile remaining loyal to Mileena. Saurians probably have a dominance thing going on, so I doubt they'd make good allies. It would also make sense to have Chameleon get fatalitied out of the story, since he isn't really relevant or popular at all.

If it is Chameleon he wfor sure will be killed. I doubt Chameleon will make it ever again in a game.

If it's not Reptile, then it could be Chameleon.

If Chameleon was a cannon fodder character, then it'd make sense his design wouldn't look remarkably different from Reptile's, as he's never had a truly individual design, unless being FrankenNinja in MKA counts as looking unique.

Seriously people... chances are its NEITHER Reptile or Chameleon! Its a comic book that serves as a prequel to MKX. For dramatic purposes characters will need to die in it and there have to be background characters to show Kotal has an army. Its probably a character the comic writer and artists came up with to fill out his army. The writers can't just go killing off MK Characters so they probably created a bunch of their own to use as fodder. Yes the face resembles Reptile. But they probably chose to do that because they are in Outworld and wanted something that looks familiar while at the same time different..

For all we know, Erron Black could have been created by the comic team in the first place. If that's the case, perhaps he could be a good candidate for DLC?

Could be. One thing I noticed after reading the comic is that it basically skipped over the whole Netherrealm war cliff hanger from MK9. Maybe if Erron Black played a role in that whole thing, that would warrant a DLC inclusion or an appearance in the game.

It was probably just Reptile but they didn't have the okay from NRS to spoil what he looked like in the game so they kind of just drew him in that half baked outfit.

Well if Reptile is wearing a costume that has a lot of gloss or polish, then it can reflect light and appear white.

I really hope not. I have faith in how NRS-y his design looks!

Hopefully, it's another ally who's introduced within the next couple of issues (maybe in Kotal's origin story), or it's someone who doesn't even actually die.
