I'd like that but doubt it. Even tho characters have been in the trailer, they weren't officially confirmed. The only thing I can think of is they will reveal through streams and then release variation photos as they have with the other characters.

Takeda, jacqui, and kung jin were obviously confirmed they also had gameplay. We saw mileena in the tower and it looks like shes in. That 5th spot is debatable but im going with shinnok. Also maybe the stream will confirm whos in by the select screen.

I say no. It isn't like NRS to just give us the roster a month before release, and without an official trailer. Perhaps we'll either get a reveal trailer prior to next stream, or a reveal(s) during the stream.

Well considering how anal they are about every little thing, I doubt we'll see the final select screen. We didn't see the final version of MK9's until release either. Smoke, Quan Chi and Cyber-Sub were leaked, never before revealed by Netherrealm studios.

If they add the 5 newly confirmed characters: Takeda, Jacqui, Kung Jin, Mileena, Erron Black (assuming these were the 5 that will be playable), to the select screen, we still have quite a bunch that still need to be revealed.

Shinnok, Rain, Baraka, are still up in the air. It's probably safe to assume Baraka will eventually make it, and I really want Shinnok to as well but I have a bad feeling he's just there for story purposes.

I doubt it. I don't think they would hit us with the rest of the roster in one stream/video.

I didnt mean like we will see every reveal. I mean like the final roster count . Of course they wont reveal everyone they already said they weren't.

Baraka is a no no. Rain is probable his chances are 75%. Shinnoks chances are 95% hes almost a shoe in. And its not quite a bunch. That will be only 6 people left. But i didnt mean they would reveal everyone just saying the final version with no more tweaks.

Oh by final select screen and version of the game I thought you meant would the version they're playing be the same as the one we will see when we pop the disc in lol

Anyway I have no idea, I don't think we will see the finalized version of anything until we get the game ourselves, but you never know

I want the Kombat Pack Characters to have a spot not the fold out way MK9 had

Idk why they can't just come out and tell us exactly how many spots there will be.

An updated select screen like this would do the job.



Probably the next video kast will be two weeks before the launch date. The secrecy is already getting annoying. They should accelerate their marketing campaign.

How many is many? I doubt there will be more than 2 before the game comes out. Well, probably they'll have a third one a day or two before the release, featuring the final build.

Sorry, but I'm not taking their words seriously. We had to wait 2 weeks for the latest kast. But we were promised it would be "sooner than we think". They do NOT know what I think. What they're saying is a bunch of corporate non-sense and it's up to you to "translate" what they're saying according to your own expectations.

I dont think it will be like 4-5 before launch or anything i think at most 3.i think it all depends on the number of reveals we get before release. Lets say we get 2 more reveals. They will probably have 1 stream with those from the story trailer and another from the next reveal. Also i see erek and tyler having a tournament like the a few days before launch on a livestream too show off the game before release .

My point is, the time for super secrecy is over. It would be annoying, if it happens in March, the last month before the games is out.

Actually, it would make me thing they're hiding something they're not proud of. And don't want to think that they don't have enough time to polish the game.

Why do people have this...need to know everything about the game in advance instead of letting themselves be pleasantly surprised at seeing something new when it actually comes out?

Sometimes I long for the good old days when the only information on upcoming MK releases existed in magazines.

It's the world we live in now. We follow movies, games, TV show ect from the moment they're announced all the way until release. We're used to development being somewhat of an open forum and knowing what to expect, learning about things early ect. And when we don't get that and they keep their cards close to their chest- it sends us in a frenzy and we get a hunger for knowing everything because we pretty much "expect" it at this point and it's so hard to go without news for a long time or not knowing who's all on the roster ect.

It's just a repercussion of living in a "Fast Food", "Right now!" kinda world.
