He was full reptile in MK9, nearly the same style as he was in MK4. Deadly Alliance take on him was so fucking stupid. Soul Calibur already has a reptilian character with a tail, and a dino look. MK9's Reptile is the best version of him, IMO, in the entire series.

Despite his mask, I thought he had a great look in the game. Sure, his MK4 was a good look, but I saw nothing wrong with how he looked in 2011. As long as they stay clear of his Deadly Alliance look, I really wouldn't care how he looks.

Ermac's cornered the market on head wraps, so I hope Reptile doesn't have that feature again. Personally, I'd love the full-on saurian look. I'm usually a bit iffy on beast characters in fighting games, but a reimagining of his MKDA look could potentially be incredible.

I'm not expecting them to do that, though. It's probably going to be closer to the full human look with some modifications, which I also wouldn't be opposed to. As long as he doesn't look like he did in MK4... that one was pretty bad.

MK4 Reptile was bad. MKSM was worse. Just keep the ninja mask and I'll be good enough.

I loved Reptile's classic, retro kostume in MK9. That, to me, is Reptile....the Reptile I fell in love with at the arcade during MK1 and MK2.

Wasn't a fan of Reptile's pale olive green and purple color combination in MK4. Could they have chosen a worse color combination than olive green and bright ass purple?!?!?! YUCK.

In my opinion, Reptile has been a wreck ever since MK4.

But seeing Scorpion's and Sub-Zero's new MKX designs, I have hope that Reptile's design will be the best we've seen in a long time.

I always pick the classic reptile costume, with the alt color, but i think both MK costumes are OK. What I would like is a costume like MK's alt.

I'm always fascinated with the crazy ass looks they give Reptile. Some are great, some are crap, some are just...well some are a little too loud. *Thinks about his horrible purple pants in MK4*


Best Reptile look for me will always be his Shaolin Monks look. It was absolutely perfect. Something in a similar vein could be cool. I disliked his MK9 appearance.

I am not a fan of that Reptile design. It is really cool artwork, but for me, it is way too much of a departure from the Reptile I loved back in MK1/MK2.

Still hoping they make human reptile as a variant, Mostly because of the talk that different character variants will effect style of the character. This would be the perfect time to implement a human reptile BOON!

You realize MK2 Reptile was a disguise, right? He was always a scaly green monster under that fake human skin and you could see his REAL appearance whenever he spit acid or did his fatality.

Yes of course, so give us the fake skin again, as a variant. I know people get all hot and bothered about this but he had fake human skin in the movie and it was awesome in my opinion. I am not saying he should be a 3 foot lizard either
