I wish it was his secondary alternate costume. Make his primary costume unmasked.

The cyber sub-zero costumes can be his tertiary. Kinda like Mileena's bandaged costume is the 3rd.

They need to do something in terms of this character. They took one of the best fighters in the game and turned him into a low-tier shell of his former self. Not sure what the can do unless they introduce yet another Sub-Zero and have Cyber Sub-Zero in as well.

It will be interested to see what they do.

Looks like with Bi-Han gone as Noob Saibot and Kuai Liang stuck in the Netherrealm for a while... looks like there'll be a new Sub-Zero but faster & stronger.

Perhaps he'll get the armor and the scar.

As a DLC costume I'd say it's possible. Or if they had customization and let you customize Subby to look like that.

I second that. I'll always gun for KAK, but I'd be happy with costume customization.

The MKD primary was also my favorite Sub-Zero look, it set him apart from his usual looks.

Speaking of different looks, I hope the team gets creative with some costumes now that the nostalgia thing is out of the way. Obviously not something so drastic that you wouldn't even recognize the character though.

I REALLY hope Kuai discovering his roots and putting on the armor comes back at some point in the new timeline...but unless he comes back from the dead in a changed or new body, first he's gonna have to get rid of the armor he's already wearing, which is kinda complicated since it's his SKIN...

Lol. I'd welcome him coming from the dead into a new body. I'm also looking forward to his battle with Sektor, and taking the title of Grandmaster for himself. I don't know much of the powers of the medallion, but is it possible it grants him his humanity back? That could be a viable way to bring back the ol' Subbie back.

I'm sorry, I just want to make sure; by "cryo-armor" do you mean his Shredder looking costume? If that's what you are talking about then "HELL YES!!" Even if there is no reason story wise to put it in the game, I'd definitely like to see it as his secondary or tertiary costume.

MK is just so far behind in that regard. Pretty much every other fighter had some form of customization out there, and NRS just doesn't get it. They need to get with the times already.

I'd rather not have three Sub-Zeros. Two is fine, three is too much. I'm sure they'll figure out what to do with Kuai Liang, however, I really hope that they recreate the armor. I liked the whole story behind the armor, just not the appearance. I'm a Ninja Turtle fan, but he doesn't need to look like Shredder.

And hopefully, never ever has that stupid pony tail look too. Yuck!
