You torture me, I'd love to see cyber smoke again, but it's highly unlikely. If he makes an appearance, I believe they will take the enenra route with him.

If Smoke returns in MKX I wouldn't want his design to be a knock off of Raiden from Metal Gear Rising. I would want a unique design, not a rip off. Also I don't think NetherRealm Studios is looking at this forum too much because of garbage threads like these.

Anyway, it would make zero sense for Smoke to suddenly return as a cyborg after spending the entire previous game in human form, even though he's inevitably going to be resurrected along with the other dead Earth warriors. It would also be stupid as it would conflict with the "Enenra" angle, which is the best thing to happen to him in terms of storyline.

And dream on if you think they're going to make him a palette swap of some other game's character.

So..... it would not be completely far-fetched to have a Smoke that looks very similar to Raiden in Metal Gear Rising.... I think.

The cyborg concepts they have for their cyborg characters are fine. They don't need to desperately go to another developer, snag their creations to use for a character that has already been a cyborg.

Smoke is an undead soldier in Quan Chi's army that we know of right now. If he is to have this demon side of him, he'll have it. Will he ever be a cyborg? Well, seeing how Sub-Zero was the one that got transformed and not him, I certainly doubt the Automation Program has a thing to hunt down undead and transform undead Lin Kuei assassins to become cyborgs.

Oooohhhh MGR..... i keep forgetting to pick that game up some time. Made by one of my fav dev studios and yes ive played it a lil onve and its totally bad ass..... Anyways in the direction things seem to be going, and considdering they now finally have the non stop "we want human smoke" request over and over at end.... I just dont see them doing it cuz makes that part of thr reboot totally pointless if they make smoke a cyborg again. And i simply dont see how it would really work at all story wise now any ways. Besides for cyrax and sektor, i think the whole cyber inititive deal will be well over with unless Sektor basically just repeats his timeline to a T.....
