Will MKX have alternate costumes?

I bought most of them too, there were mostly very well designed. Plus it helped the characters would have their alts in the Ladder. Something about 3 alts in MKX seems very possible to me.

There should be at least one alternate costume per character when the game is released. That would mean six slightly different looks for all characters. DLC will undoubtedly come later with more character alts. So we may be looking at 9, possibly 12 different costume variations for some characters.

I'd be satisfied if we get two alts per character, making each character have three costumes in total: one original, one unlockable, one DLC. More than anything, I want a maskless MK3/MKDA-ish alt for SZ. Anything more than that is a luxury for me. Though, the amount of alts we got for Injustice does give me hope for more

Im giving NRS a bit of a clean slate here. We really havent seen a fully-WB-backed MK yet since MK9 straddled the gap between Midway and WB. I really liked Injustice's alts so Im sure MKX will be no slouch.
To be honest, if there is to be DLC, I don't want it to be costumes. I'd rather spend $5+ on something that seems more useful than another costume. In no way am I saying it'll be a waste if a costume pack is to be added, I just won't get it. But maybe if it was to be like another chapter to some character or, I dunno, let's say Goro gets something or any other DLC character.
Not really wanting to spend money on a costume pack. I think having just one alternate, if there is any (although I've seen various people claiming that it's been announced and I really don't recall seeing an announcement for alternates unless I just skimmed right over that) will be better than having various.

I really don't understand why people like the PS2 costumes so much. They're were pretty terrible.
I'm sure alts will be in the game, and you might be wondering how will that work when each combat type has a different design.
I think it's like this for example; Subzero's orginal his mask changes only. So perhaps for example his alt has a helmet that changes design.

Because this forum has the biggest boner for Deadly Alliance and Deception for some odd reason.

I have no love for the DA looks, but I love the designs in Deception. They stood out and really melded with the atmosphere the game was trying to create. Deception, in my opinion, had the best art direction of all of the 3D era games. The 3 ninjas present in Deception differ, perhaps more than they ever had before and that was kickass. You can still see the impact Deception left in Ermac's 2011 design. As a Sub-Zero fan, I have no problem declaring my love for Shred-Zero, I loved that look. The pony-tail alt, not so much, but the padded armor was neat. Also, Deception holds my all-time favorite Scorpion look. The Deadly Alliance look was bland, the alt in Deception was just his MK4 outfit, and the Scorpion motif in 2011 was tacky and too busy. The armor he had as his main in Deception is my absolute favorite design for Scorpion.

Can I just say...ily?
Only disagreement is Scorpion's outfit from Deception. While that ranks #2 for me, I really really liked his MK9 alt.

I'd be down with costume packs, but no more classic outfits for people who already had them. Just people like Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade, Raiden and Kano should get Classic costumes.
But I would put money down for a "New" costume pack. A brand new set of Alts for every character, now that would be fuckin' great.
