Hi guys, do you think that MK x will have so much IGAU elements on it?
Because I see that there will be so much IGAU inspired characters fighting style or trait in MK x , for example :

Goro will have very close fighting style with doomsday
Torr share so much Solomon Grundy elements on his fighting style
Quan chi's summoner variation almost like the one Sinestro has
Raiden new fighting style is like those black Adam and shazam has

I bet we will se more new characters that will also share very IGAUish element on it, other potential characters but still unconfirmed that I predict are :

1. We will see cyborg like characters who will be jax in very high possibilities
2. We will see new character like the flash who will focus more on agility, a new Shirai Ryu ninja maybe?
3. A new hawk girl like character
4. Aquaman like character
5. Martian man hunter will share very close element, if kenshi or ermac will be in the game
6. Green lantern like characters,etc

What is your thoughts guys?

I'm guessing Goro will play similar to a mixture of Grundy/Doomsday. He maybe will have some of Grundy's grappling abilities and Doomsday's mobility. I honestly hope he's a total monster in this game. Torr doesn't really share many elements with Grundy imo, he's more of a Bane type character although I do agree. The first thing I thought of when I saw that characters gameplay was Bane.

Raiden looks like he plays nothing like Shazam or Black Adam. Shazam was a grappler character who's greatest trait was his command grab. Black Adam was more of an all around character who used mostly dive kicks and zoning, I don't see how Raiden even resembles these two besides obviously lightning abilities. If anything, he looks more like an Ares type character with added elements in my opinion.

Cyborg like characters? Yeah, sure, but what does that have to do with IGAU? There have always been cyborgs in MK.

We don't know if there will be a hawkgirl/aquaman/green lantern type characters if any and why would there be?

Martian Manhunter plays nothing like Kenshi/Ermac. He has completely different powers than the other two characters.

I don't really get your point for the most part. They're both pretty different games, and I feel like Injustice was definitely a improvement for NRS and I do hope they include some aspects of the game in MKX.

Watching the game and playing that game are two very different experiences. With the time I had my hands on MKX, I couldn't believe how at home I felt after MK9. Yes, there was a learning curve and a few differences but it was very much like MK9-2. I mean that in a good way. Evolved and refined.

I had a cringe when I seen the intractables but I trust NRS. They aren't the powerhouse that they were in Injustice and they can be blocked. The corner escapes can be punished and quite frankly, are riskier than a simple jump out so it's not really a concern.

I feel as if MKX will make it's own impact and set itself apart in a very healthy way.

I like IGAU, but please don't compare it with MKX in any way. MK in general is more advanced than any other fighter period.

Wtf? Advanced? MK gameplay wise is one of the easiest fighters to pick up.

Not referring to game-play, more so to that the characters don't play like characters from other games such as IGAU and MK has their own style.

This is precisely why I didn't pick up Injustice with much interest. I did buy it (Komplete Edition), but mainly to support NRS. I traded it in for Reaper of Souls about 2-3 weeks after buying it and only played once and...you guessed it...I chose Scorpion.

Otherwise I'd be making these comparisons all the time and it would have driven me nuts.

I totally understand those who wanted something to compare it to though. Especially if you're a hardcore gamer.

But I'm happy my MKX experience won't be muddled. MKX is going to be a whole new ball game for me. And I'm excited. Perhaps even more so now since Casselman says it's like MK9 2.0.

While certain characters may have familiar properties, everyone I've talked to who's played it says it feels like a logical extension of MK9 with interactibles tossed in. Wouldn't worry.

Unfortunatly i see this is happening aswell. Ive already seen some re-used animations, the color scheme is just like IGAU, and i guess most sound files will be similar.

Im sure NRS is aware that MK is not IGAU. Still they seem to look a like and Im not a fan of it. I dont care if certain gameplay elements are shared like the interactibles. But when it comes to visual style and music/sounds, they should be very different to each other.

I am not too worried about it having some Injustice tossed in, but even if it did I wouldn't be too upset about it, I enjoyed how Injustice played for the most part and I trust NRS knows what elements from that game would be good for MK. That's why you see some interactables, but nothing along the lines of throwing cars or massive objects, not having to hold back to block, or character traits.

I was iffy about those when we first saw the June reveal trailer and when we heard about them. Once I saw the gameplay though I didn't mind too much. It's good to hear those out-of-corner maneuvers can be tricky, or even deadly if you're not on point.

As for arena weapons/throwables...I'll need to get my feet wet first before jumping in.
