Why so much hate for Tremor?

I honestly just hate him because of his fans. Everywhere we would go on the forums there would be some guy throwing Tremor in there when it had nothing to do with the conversation. Like throwing the fact that you got laid last night into a baseball conversation.

That and after seeing all of the bombarding of NRS employees on twitter to include a character they wanted, I was sick of it. Again, a tweet about Chicago Bulls basketball, some dumbass replies with "tremor for MKX."

Worst of all it spawned a race of twitter bombarding dumbasses that are now doing the same with Rain. Rain is literally my favorite character of all time, but I'm not on twitter waiting by my phone for a Boon tweet so I can request him as a playable character. Luckily there's other people wasting their lives with that.

Other than that, when he's released I'll probably like him. Just hated the process.

I have never seen that at all. Maybe I didn't visit the site enough before he was announced lol I mostly see huge arguments over how Tanya looks.

I'm happy we get Tremor because I like it when the roster expands with rumor characters or old NPCs. Ermac, Blaze, Skarlet, etc.

I don't like Tremor because he's a ninja. I would be happy if Tasia or No Face also made it in.

No no no, it didn't. I'm using an extreme example of how Tremorons just do nothing but pester Ed for Tremor, and hijack completely unrelated topics to start raving about Tremor.

Yeah you're right on that...it wasn't as extreme, but it was a topic meant to be serious that turned into Ed being pestered and harassed about Tremor. It was late into MK9's release.

I try my best not to hate a character because of their fans. As a fan of some not so reputable fan bases, I hate it when I'm lumped in the same boats as extreamist and people completely disregard the quality of a decent character or thing because they don't like some of the fans they met.

With that said I don't understand the appeal of Tremer. (Though his element is unique to the roster.) And I would prefer a certain wind deity in his place, but I will give him a chance.

I hear you. I agree in most respects. To me it just feels like the majority of Tremor fanatics are sort of like that moment when you go to a fancy, fine-dining restaurant...the type that the cheapest item on the menu is a $22 appetizer...and then this white trash family shows up, some how able to afford to eat there, with their 13 kids, all aged between 3 and 9...and they start shouting, yelling, fighting, throwing shit, running around the restaurant, going up to other tables and trying to pick food off of people's plates...that's how I envision the Tremorons. It doesn't matter what it is about Mortal Kombat...Ed can tweet something about concept art for a new character, he gets bombarded by Tremor tweets. Someone starts a topic about a new character that was announced, it gets hijacked by "I want Tremor" rantings.

The general MK fanbase is a room full of people trying to enjoy the topic, and the Tremorons are the gaggle of ADHD kids that run in screaming like lunatics.

I'm just way curious of his speech. Nathan Hosner is listed as his VA, but the guy must be pretty new to the scene considering MKX and Chicago P.D are his only listed credits.
