She just doesn't really bring anything new to the table, unless they leave SZ out for a game or put them both in and make them both unique/distinct there is no point in having her playable really.

I don't hate Frost I actually liked playing as her in Deadly Alliance but unless they make her play a good deal different than SZ it would seem like a waste to have them both playable in one game (imo) So yeah, as long as they can make them play different im all for Frost and SZ being in a game.

Well, just look at Killer Frost. She had ice powers but she was nowhere near Sub-Zero. There's so much then can do with her, like ice daggers, ice puddles, ice falling from the sky, etc.

I like Frost and she can be different to Sub-Zero like with Cassie and Johnny or Jacui and Jax.

I just hate her fans they are SO FUCKING ANNOYING. On gamefaqs, whenever there is a poll, frost fans have alt accounts to make sure she wins.

I think Frost should be given another chance, she has potential, Sub-Zero also doesnt have the ice puddle, which was her inherited move in Deadly Alliance, the team can make her unique if they put some effort. her in game model also isnt that bad, they can also borrow some of killer frost's moves from injustice.

I actually liked Frost, it was just that seemed like Sub Zero lite. His shoulder charge was better then her slide. His ice ball was better (hers went along the ground I think) etc. Maybe she will be in MK XI and be a rival to Takeda, the 2 factions are at war again or something. Only playable this time.

Killer Frost didn't feel anything like Sub Zero so I'm confident they could give Frost a moveset completely different from SZ. I think it would be good if Frost borrowed a few of Killer Frosts moves, specifically the ground ice spikes and something like her freezing touch trait if she were to make it into the game as DLC.

Having said that, I would rather see Li Mei or even Sareena before Frost.

Exactly, they already proven they can make another ice based character without it being a SZ clone (Frost in DA didn't even play the exact same IIRC) so I am all for it.

Injustice showed me that they can be more creative with specials moves than I originally thought lol even though I know it likely wont ever happen, their Injustice Hawkgirl just made me imagine what a revamped Nitara could be like in a 2D MK lol

She's a clone but she can be different enough from Sub to warrant her being there. They simply never pursued it. She was wasted potential from the worst era of MK. Even more of a disappointment that she's not in MKX, yet appears in story mode and is mentioned several times over. Frost would've been another better option than Goro on the main roster.

Most of the complaints are that's she's a lesser cryomancer Sub-Zero who is also a bit of a bitch.

I suppose while the betrayal in Deadly Alliance was nice and new for the time it also backfired by contributing to the disdain for her. Armageddon/Deception didn't help much either.

Also a female version of a character is a tad unoriginal to start with.

Oh yeah and the hair...even though I do like the hair.

I think she was one of the better 3D era ideas, but she has the unfortunate issue of being not only a "female counterpart" powerwise but also being his student in the story. It's like Batgirl or Supergirl -- they're almost always second bananas to the men they're based on. Most people would rather see the original.

Tanya is similar to Scorpion in color scheme and powers, for example, but she's never felt like Scorpiongirl because the characters don't have a story connection. Frost totally feels like Subzerogirl.

Love Frost. Especially in her alternate outfit I think she looks great.
She could use some changes though so she is less female Subby and more unique moves wise.

I like Frost, I used her a lot in her Deadly Alliance debut, she deserve a second chance in the game

I can come up with three variations for her:

Takedown: Gains the ability to freeze arms and legs as well as weaken or slow down.
Cagefighter: Can create walls of ice and jump off of them or slam foes into.
Frostbite: Can switch between ice armor or twin daggers.

I think the problem with Frost is that Sub-Zero already does all the cool ice stuff so when people come up with ideas for her they kind of wander into weird mist/snow/water type things.

the sub-zero clone thing is probably Ed Boon's fault for saying that she's a female sub-zero from the beginning; that immediately messed up the mind set of many I suppose. Imagine if he called Kenshi; Blind Ermac ?

I've been waiting for Frost's return to MK in playable form since Armageddon/Unchained. NRS could easily make her unique like they did before. What better platform for her to shine than MKX? Coz waiting 4 years is just toooooo long

I think he was just naming a bunch of random names that people send him. It's not a deconfirmation of Frost and nether is it a confirmation of anything else.

I think it's a pretty clear deconfirmation of Frost, but I wouldn't take the names listed seriously. (Chrome is clearly a joke, at the very least.)
