I like Bo Rai Cho.

I know some people like him, but a bunch of people keep saying he should die in Armageddon.

If it wasn't for Bo Rai Cho, Liu Kang would not have been able to defeat Shang Tsung and be the fighter and heroe he is today. Same for Kung Lao too. I like Bo Rai Cho, he expands MK, and brings in new fighting styles like Drunken Fist and Sumo. Not everyone hates him, I like when he pukes and farts. And, before I forget, I like when he does the belly moves like the belly bash and things to that sort.

well in my opinion bo rai cho is pretty annoying....i mean who would wanna be a character that farts and throws up waaaaaaay to many time.get my drift?

If he tones down on the farting and only aloud 3 puke puddles in one match, would that be any better?

now..i like old guys in fighting games, their cool and/or funny at times..gen in street fighter, that one old lady with the fake teeth attack, old shang-stung (sp?) the mussle-bound old guy from fatal fury..but not if they are vometing, farting and just being annoying.

you ever see be rai cho's 'cool getting-up' move in decption? some of them are cool..like baraka using his blades, sropion using his spear..bo-rai-cho has a FART ROCKET! he farts a huge jet of nasty methain-laced stink to propel himself to his feet!

now, i don't mind wario's fart in SSBB, becasue i've been waiting for him for a wile, but bo-rai-cho is just a durkard who farts and pukes..

funny charaters can be very populer, dan hibiki, herclue, mr. game&watch, yoshimetsu..but farting just for the heck of it? drinking heavy? puking? no thanks..exuse me wile i go play paroduis.

he'd still be bad..his story is a 'homage' to nearly every anime in existaince..the master of a given matral art is often a prevert /drunkard with a 'funny' presonaty who, at the start, is the second most powerful preson on the planet, then he becomes the third. but unlike master roshi and kakashi, who have some subsatince to back it up..bo-chi-cho's story is tacked on to liu kang, we never see liu train with him, we've never heard of him til MK:DA, he has no real reson to be there, he's way pasted his peak, he's fat, old and he drinks too much. he actuly left for another realm in mk5 FOR BETTER ALACOLIC BEVERAGES!


when roshi or kakashi made a desision of this mangatude, it was often for the greater good, like master roshi blowing up the moon, or kakashi fighting sabuza when his sharingan was useless..yes, bo-rai-cho was going to train kung-lao..but think about it: where was kung-lao during depection? he was still training and the drunk was out boozing and fighting..HE'S FIGHTING UNDER THE INFULINCE! HOW GOOD A TEACHER CAN HE BE IF HE PREPOSFULY HADICAPS HIMSELF IN A BATTLE TO DESIDE THE FATE OF MUTIABLE UNIVERESES?!

mk is suposed to be a seroius (ok, maybe semi-seroius) fighting game, and yet we have this lame master roshi wanna-be...but with kobra and the other lame chars in mk as of late..it makes me wonder if nintendo even WANTS an mk8 on wii!

let's hope kabal kills him in mk8, if for nothing than to be rid of him.

Calm down! MK IS A GAME! It's alright to have a little fun with it. If we make him a little more serious, how would you feel then? In all fairness, I think he was much more serious in MKD. He was leading thousands of soldiers all by himself and he kicked Barakas ass on his own. What's wrong with him being old? Kitana is 10,000 years old and she has a huge fanbase.

They don't really hate him, they think he's unbalance and fair. They fear his staff moves will continue to the next mk game. It could lose fans. I know some ppl, who are serious gamers and find bo rai cho cheap.

Bo Rai Cho is awesome I like his storyline and I'm sick of people hating kombatants because they are not like every other character. He also has cool fighting moves.

I know what you mean. Just because he's fat doesn't mean he can't be a good fighter. His story is pretty good.

His appearance and behavior are merely a deception. On the inside, he's a skilled martial arts master and someone that cares about the world he's from and simply wants Outworld to be free from evil tyrants like Shao Kahn.

You're right. He just pretends to be a fool so nobody knows the great things he's capable of.

To stay on topic though, I don't like Master Cho as he is. But, I loved the way he was portrayed in the MKConquest series. The way they made him, (though not so heavy and without the vomit and farts and everything) was with a kind of evil or bad tendancy to steal souls. In that series(though cannon) it explained where Shang Tsung got his look MK1 and abillty to steal souls. And, that Tsung was not the only one on earth able, via Master Cho. It kinda made him more a relavant character and described how he was able to live long enough to train Champ after champ. ( In the series) He wasn't using the soul steal the same as Tsung to consume the whole soul, he just took a little from a looot of different people. And that kept him alive while not killing anyone.

(Note once more, this discription of BO RAI CHO is cannon. Don't get it twisted I only used this to describe what I would like to see from him)

Why does everyone hate Bo Rai Cho? Because he's a joke the way he is. He should be the real commedy in the series---as he is. Make him more like Jackie Chan's "Drunken Master" if you want to see him respected as even just a teacher.

Maybe because Bo Rai Cho is an Asian sounding name, no? Okay so his name was derived from Borracho, which would be drunkard in Spanish, See? That is why people secretly hate him, they just don't want to tell why.
