I agree. I standby the notion that NRS put in Tremor not because of the fan petition, but because Boon was sick to death of getting bombarded by Tremor tweets from a very small, but VERY loudmouthed and incessant community of frothing fanatics.

Either Rain will be DLC or he will not. Either you will purchase him or you will not if he is. Either you feel he deserve to be DLC or you do not.

By the way, according to like 30 poorly written, completely unresearched online articles from reporters who know nothing about the game, Rain is coming along with Meat!

Seriously. I wouldn't mind Meat DLC. Yes, there are people who have more potential to be explored, but that doesn't change the fact a fun non-serious character could be, well, fun to play as and mess around with. And, if they happen to raise Meat's stock while doing so, then all the better.

People think Rain has a chance because he's in the story mode! And he's popular! It's not hard to see. He actually has a bigger role in the story than some playable characters (Hello, Kung Lao and Kitana). He's a cool character I wouldn't mind seeing playable again. Never my first choice but not a bad one, especially when he's as relevant to the story as anyone.



Meat will always rub me kind of the wrong way because to me, Drahmin is "Meat, but with a story/character", but I wouldn't mind Meat showing up again. Again, never my first choice, but Meat could be explored for sure. I'd much prefer him as a secret character in the main roster to being DLC though, as "joke" characters are almost as much a wasted roster spot as guest characters, and probably wouldn't sell well enough for NRS to care.

Oh fucking forgive me for getting a little too emotional over thinking one if my favorite characters were killed off. It was silly but come on just about everyone else reacted worse when they're favorites were offed or appeared to be. Not a big fucking deal and that doesn't take away the point I'm making.
