Who finds the low blows in this game underwhelming?
With the exception of Cassie's X-Ray, both her low blow and Johnny's are disappointing, imo. The opponents aren't facing the camera nor making any funny faces.
Also, while they've done a good job differentiating Cassie from her parents, I feel they're trying to make the low blows her thing more than Johnny's. She get that awesome, literal ball-busting X-Ray, while Johnny only get another involving strictly the skull. I just think his X-ray should also have involved the opponent's crotch, as well, and been different from Cassie's.
Speaking of Cassie's X-Ray, it hasn't been censored or anything, right? That's something I'm a little worried about, that they'll go Joker on that one.

It still kind of bothers me that the majority of the x-rays I've seen focus on the head/neck.
Only real issue I've got with them atm. Oh, and Reptile's is terrible.

Cassie is being the sassy chick while JC became more serious or at least action movie hero serious, hence the former with the x-ray, the middle finger, and both the bubblegum and selfie fatalites.

Cassie might be a good character but I just find her dumb.
Cage will always be the awesome, funny character of MK. Cassie feels like an imposter. I didn't find her funny what so ever.
Also I don't feel like she is Sonya's daughter, other than her looks she is no where near Sonya.
Sonya is an awesome female character that can hold her ground, Cassie is dumb and feels like she is one of those teenagers you'd find outside the club screaming "I'm old enough to be here!", When they are thrown out.
Although her fight style is interesting... I fear that's only because I like Stryker and she feels like his daughter rather than Johnny's and Sonya's daughter.

Probably because there is nothing to be disappointed with.
It's a punch in the groin. They get hit in the nuts, there's a "Squish" noise and the opponent reacts in pain...What more do you want them to do? Make it MMA realistic and take a one/two minute break from fighting to recover?
Not one of your best random daily topics. Looking forward to tomorrow's one.

Didn't know about the squishing noise (too many vids with commentary). That sounds good.
I already said what my problem with the low blows was, but since I apparently have to point it out again: they're not facing the camera, like in past games that had the low blow. They're not making funny grimaces.
Now, was that clear enough for you?

Oh my god. Are you saying you're mature just because you don't care for such stuff?
Heh.

No, I'm saying I don't care if they look at the camera and make funny faces because that stopped being funny when I was three. It's trivial.

The low blows seem fine, it's just Johnny to me who sticks out like a sore thumb. He moves very, very differently from every one. Also a little too flexible, he looks a little cartoony moving around whilst everyone else feels a little more....realistically fluid and stiff when need be. I don't really know how else to describe it.
