I am not that excited. IMO using guest character is just a waste of oportunity to create a new and interesting character or return with the old favorites. In MKX there are 2 guests now.

In MK9 i only use Freddy Kruegger once, in practice to see his moves and fatalities and never touch him again. Even forgot that he was there.

I'm incredibly hyped. Always loved the Friday The 13th movies. Really excited to see his variations, fatalities and X Ray.

Friday The 13th is one of my favorite movie series, and MK IS my favorite video game series, so having Jason in MK is just fantastic.

To be completely honest with you?

Fuck Yeah! I'm looking forward to all the DLC characters honestly guests and all I'm actually most excited for Predator.

But I truly can't wait to see all the X-Rays, Fatalities & Brutalities for all the DLC characters.

BlackCyborg got me hyped for Jason lol, and after watching some of the movies i'm pretty excited tbh. Definitely the character i'm most looking forward to (out of the 4 DLC)

I don't hate guest characters. I understand the amount of money they make the studio and the interest they create in the game. Of course I'd love to get Rain instead, but when are we ever going to be able to kill people with Jason in a game again?

Tremor is where my hype is focused.

To be honest I'm not really that excited for Jason. Don't get me wrong I love watching Friday The 13th movies during Halloween time but Jason is just a machete maniac killer. To me guest characters are a waste of space that slot could have been used for fan favorite MK characters. If I want to play Jason in a fighting game I would go play Terrordome.

Seriously, I can't wait! I've been a fan of MK since the beginning and I can see how much pop culture icons have inspired many characters in MK over the years. Jason is one of my favorite characters ever, I'm ready for him.

Also, I get really sick of people saying "it's a waste of a slot" or "they should've made a new character." There are tons of new characters in MKX! WTF? Honestly, I could've done without a few of them too.

I'm really excited to play as Jason. Can't wait for the weekend. But i can't understand why are so much people hyped with Tayna. One of the lamest MK chars of all time.

I'm not that excited. Only guest character that made me happy for so far was Kratos. I alo haven;t seen many of Friday the 13th, so it's not a big deal for me. Still, as an MK fan, Jason will find his way to my console.

Out of the 4 DLC we get so far, my biggest excitement goes to Tremor. Then Tanya, as these are actual MK characters. Predator might be really fun but I'm waiting to see what they make of him.

Come to think about it, Jason is actually in 4th place to me. But as I said, I'll reel him in.

Well, speaking for myself I'd say no. To me guest characters are pointless outside of the curious novelty they represent. I found it odd when Soul Calibur had Spawn, Link, and the Star Wars characters because they were completely out of place. They didn't match the tone nor the aesthetic of the game. I found the same to be true regarding Freddy in MK9. Jason and Predator have not yet and probably won't change my opinion.

I personally feel these guest characters are taking roster spots from all the legitimate MK characters that got those cock teasing cameos in the story mode. In a heartbeat I'd take Fujin, Li Mei, Bo Rai Cho, Frost, or Rain instead of Jason or Predator.

Just my opinion.

I'm glad to see some people are excited! They seriously couldn't put a character in the game that I would hate (except tremor).

What I'm really pumped about is seeing those moves/fatalities that are nods to the movies. They're gonna be SWEET. So yes, I'm definitely excited for him.

I'm super excited, I really can't wait! He's my favorite horror character and he couldn't have fit in a better videogame.

Aren't we Kombat Pass owners supposed to get them today? It's tuesday, a week earlier than the actual release. I wish they elaborated on this.

As a HUGE fan of the Friday the 13th series I'm so fucking excited for Jason! I can't wait to play as him. I'm also crossing my fingers for an "Uber Jason" costume from Jason X!
