Yeah? Why? Do you regret it?

Not really.. I am mainly concerned with learning all combos on my main, and the gameplay. I can't resist spoilers, I know this about myself pretty well so ya.. I knew I was going to watch a lot of stuff early when it was available.

I haven't seen the brutalities and a lot of the arcade endings and such, so there is that. I'm almost certain there is a secret character in there somewhere, plus we got the DLC stories and fatalities to look forward to.

It's one of those "to each his own" or "whatever floats your boat" scenarios. I can understand the desire to know, but I personally don't want to find out ANYTHING beyond what was officially released or revealed by NRS to hype up the game.

Until I pop the disc in, of course.

I completely ruined MK9's story and fatalities. The majority of the fatalities were stale before I even got the game because I watched them so much. Can't let myself do that again.

Besides, there's nothing like basking in the glory of a fatality (or brutality) for the first time on a 70" LED Smart TV. Same with story mode.

I definitely don't blame you.... I am looking everywhere for a good deal on a PS4 as I haven't upgraded yet. I still haven't spoiled myself yet. I am getting a decent tax return back so I might have drop a good chunk of it to get a PS4 and MKX.

It's frustrating. I want to partake in the pre-game hype leading up to the 14th, but it's damn near impossible to avoid spoilers. Even on the first page of THIS thread there are people dropping semi-spoilers. WTF?

That being said, after 10 long months, I'm officially going dark from the forums. Time to invest some more time into other hobbies of mine until April 14th.

I'm trying hard to stay away from the story, alts, krypt and endings lol. I don't really care about anything else.

I've caught up on a lot of landscaping around my property. Just finished putting posts in for 400 feet of split rail fencing. Wire and cross boards tomorrow. Then It's yard grading and sod shaving. Planting about 150 shrubs installing 2 fence gates and getting grass seed down and fertilized. My week is just about covered. LOL. It's my evening relax time that I get on here and it's hard to avoid spoilers that people "accidentally" put in thread headings.

Probably a wise decision, I can't stay away from the forums..

Now that mobile is out it'll keep the remainder of my time occupied.

I watched about ten minutes of story without sound at worst. Chick fights. Seen a lot of second fatalz. Seen some ALTs. Read no comics. Read of comics here. All hope is NOT gone.. doin' decent for me

I really dont want to upgrade to PS4 because unfortunately I dont have time to play games and also because the console did not have backward compatibility. I have a lot of games and dont want to lose my library.

After seeing the first chapter of story mode, watching it again felt incredibly boring on that Amazon stream. I just hope that I don't get bored watching it whilst playing the game. Same for the last two chapters of Story Mode.

And the fatalities when I do them for the trophy... :/

i havent watched any of the story other than the first two chapters and so im doing pretty well holding off. but i am saddened by the final boss and the lack of any unlockable characters.

i also havent spoiled any of the arcade endings other than subzero and cassie's whose i read a few days ago. but i am saving the rest for the game.

i still need to buy an xbox one and the game first tho :(

Mokap makes an appearance as Johnny's ex stunt double but is killed by then resurrected by Quan Chi, but is disfigured and is now referred to as "Meat"

........Who is the final boss

I tried really hard to avoid everything but the bios/visuals and reading the comics but then they showed the first 30 minutes which isn't that bad but sadly the launch trailer with System of a Down showed a scene that wasn't part of chapter 1 and I pretty much figured out the boss. Then a thread on here completely spoiled the boss for me. I am hugely disappointed. It's not Shao Kahn thankfully. If they had made him the boss again I think I'd have to hunt Boon down and injure him. But still, I was hoping for something truly unexpected. Boon is a liar I saw this coming a year ago.

I saw mention of a couple other spoilers before I escaped that thread, but I genuinely have no idea what happens between Chapter 1 and the final boss, and that I guess is enough. I'm avoiding all other spoilers until Tuesday.
