Never into Shang Tsung. Never impressed me as a villain. And besides, after MK vs. DC, I want to see them carry on with the "new generation" idea. Therefore, as one of the main villains of the current era, he should end with it.

Jax
Never into Jax and he's beyond stale at this point. The only way I'd accept him coming back is if he turned evil. Otherwise, he's of no more use.

Baraka
Stale and anything else he could offer to the story I would rather see Reptile or Mileena do it.

Cyrax
He's run his course and I prefer Sektor.

Kabal
Except for maybe Kira....no more Black Dragon. Out with the old.

Sonya Blade
Never into Sonya. Never had a use for her. But I said "maybe" because I'm slightly more accepting of her and if Jax turns evil, that could be a worthy development for her.

Wow you guys named almost half of the MK roster. Are you hoping for another Armageddon? Might as well beg for another MK Kart. I want what he promised earlier and failed to deliver: a new clean slate of MK (exceptions Scorpion & Subzero). Maybe 15-20 characters at most, so we have new individual characters to concentrate on and make sure we have a solid fighting game.

I'll admit, I was extremely generous with my list.

But if/when they do do the "new slate," I stand by Scorpion & Sub-Zero NOT being the only returning characters. Characters like Sareena, Havik, Nitara, and some others have plenty to offer and never got the chance to. And there are a small (very small) handful of older characters who still have something to offer. It'd be waste to throw them away.

I agree boon needs to create this game in the real mk 8 we were promised!!!!!

I think the roster should be non-important characters (I.E, Dairou.) So those kind of characters have time to develop a more solid position in the MK plot

Whoever survived MKA and a whole new-generation of characters. The new characters would resemble the old ones in some kind of way. Like say maybe, relatives from the past characters...? Don't really know tho.

Plus him saving everyone as usual. I love his story. Always have. Its so interesting. Training all over the world plus making movies. Far more fun than sitting around some temple crap. Oh yeah baby. Glad to see he was modeled after bloodsport.Thats like one of the greatest karate movies ever. Well next to Billy Jack of course.

in the MK universe nobody really dies,so also Stryker and Mokap have good chance to come back.

JAX.i don't want him back neither as cyborg neither as human,neither as good neither as evil.The only jax appearance i liked was in Annihiliation.

SINDEL.nothing special,i'm not srprised she appaears only in two games

CHARS THAT COULD COMEBACK

JOHNNY CAGE: he will return,as a mature master,he will train new generations of kombatants.He will have also a more serious role.he had cool moves and in the last days he had also cool fatalities(brain rip and punching bag fatalities are among the best fatals ever in MK history).
he's also one of the most known characters in the MK universe,known also by non-mk fanboys.so he deserves to appear again.

KINTARO: better than goro,nothing to say.
QUAN CHI:my favourite sorcerer,good storyline and good personality.
ONAGA:the dragon king,the best evil character in the entiee MK storyline.
