Long overdue with massive potential and connected to many other characters. Just hope they make her neutral/good.

- Kitana
A personal favorite with a large role in the story. Her storyline still has plenty of potential and I want to see she goes.

- Mileena
Her story has finally reached an interesting turning point and I'd like to see where she goes.

- Jade
Always liked Jade. Want to see her story be developed and become more of her own character.

- Tanya
I like Tanya and would like her feud with Jade be developed and also a feud with Mileena in the future.

- Noob Saibot
Ater finding out who he really is, I'm definitely loking forward to where he goes. Want to see what he has in store for Scorpion, Sareena, and Sub-Zero...among others.

- Quan Chi
Favorite MK villain. Still has too many connections to a lot of other characters to be gone for good.

- Reiko
As long as he has nothing to do with Shao Kahn. Have him connected to Sareena, like he should have been.

- Shinnok
I'd like Shinnok get a chance to redeem himself. He has a good story and can play a very cool role with everything going on with Raiden and the One Being. He just needs his own moves and a better appearence.

- Sektor
Sektor's due for a comeback. Would like to see where he and his Tekunin goes and how it gets involved with the Lin Kuei, Special Forces, and two Dragon clans.

Would also like to see Rain, Shao Kahn, Kintaro, Kung Lao, and Havik among others.

Kung Lao- They should make him the next main hero and champion of MK, like they started to in MKDA. Liu Kang's time is done, and Shujinko wasn't a success, pass the mantle to Kung Lao.

Johnny Cage- MK just isn't right without the cocky pretty boy. He provides a unique lighter touch, and a more human side to the heroes. But please, give him some kind of new storyline.

Li Mei- One of my favourite of the more recent characters, I'd like to see where her storyline goes next. Give her another MKDA style Oriental kung fu outfit.

Mavado- For someone only introduced recently, he has a very deep storyline, and connections to many other characters that can be taken further.

Sareena- Seriously, it's time she was brought into a mainstream MK, she's by far the most interesting spinoff character.

Stryker- I know he's not popular, but I really liked him. MK needs a more average hero, and I thought his use of modern weapons was cool. Just give him a real SWAT uniform next time.

Nitara- Another recent character I really liked. I think they should do more with her vampire abilities during combat, and Raiden's MKDA ending hinted she had some connection to Onaga.

Quan Chi- Come on, this guy has a lot more to offer as a big villain in MK. He's defeated the five heroes, and then Shang Tsung, and evidence suggests that he survived the MKD explosion.

Raiden- The Dark Raiden storyline is a breath of fresh air for an MK veteran who badly needed something new. They have to run with the new angry vicious Raiden for a while.

Mileena- MKD finally showed that she doesn't need Kitana around to be a meaningful character. I like the scene her ending sets, with her deceiving everyone and taking Kitana's place.

1) Sonya Blade - obviously, she needs to appear to add that human element to the game. Representing the modern world, and Earthrealm, and she kicks major portions of arse as she does so.

2) Johnny Cage - I always liked him, and I think he deserves a better spot in MK than just as the cannon fodder. Likewise to Sonya, he adds to the human element, plus you can't really have one without the other, since they are a couple.

3) Kabal - I think its a real pity about the new Black Dragon, since I would like to see Kabal as a loner again, but as an evil loner all the same. Like, maybe Havik convinced him that he just didn't make a hero, and so he went back to his old ways. After all, Sonya needs someone to be feuding with, and Kabal would make a decent enough character providing they played them equally. Say the Special Forces wants to get the Heart of Onaga back before Kabal does something bad with it.

4) Shinnok - I think he'd make an excellent end boss for MK7, providing they did him properly. He needs to look like a God, and he needs to have powers of that nature, granted not too powerful of course, since then he'd just slaughter you. He also needs to be a proper boss, and not appear on the character select screen. That's just stupid.

5) Sub-Zero - I wish they'd stayed with the new Lin Kuei angle and kept him in his ninja attire, personally. I also wish that they'd made him the main character, since I think most people view him there as is anyway. He has a lot of potential to be the driving force for good, but I'm not sure if he has the charisma as a person to lead the group fighting for good. Its about time he started kicking arse instead of having his arse kicked.

6) Frost - I'd like to see her back so that they can do something with her story, like they should have in MKDA. She needs to be Subby's sister.

7) Goro - This guy is just the absolute King, I've always liked him the most of all the sub-bosses and bosses, I just think he has been very ill-represented over the years. He was good in MK1, but they messed him up in MK4 and then subsequently in MKDA. I am glad he returned in MKD as a villain.

8) Mileena - She is so completely hot, plus I'd like to see the conclusion of that Mileena/Baraka storyline. Personally, I would give real money to see them be a couple again, and just go around causing carnage like the old days.

9) Baraka - He's a berzerker, obviously he needs to come back. We need more unhinged, psychotic mutants running around in my opinion.

10) Noob Saibot - He has a lot of potential as a character, the kind which characters like Scorpion and Liu Kang have long outgrown. He has a lot of angles to pursue, and I really think he should be out pursuing them. He needs to get rid of Smoke and start using the Scythe again though. And he needs to meet up with Subby so we can see the sparks fly.

1- Sonya

Its just not Mk without the original female of the game. We need the blond that represents earth in kombat back, but this time with a new and refreshing storyline. Give her back the infamous leg grab and the rest of her trademark special moves that she has had ever since Mk1.

2- Johnny Cage

The movie star thing must go, don’t annihilate that from his personality, but give him a new role, something to do that will actually make him stand out from the rest, saving earth and making new Mk films isn’t enough anymore. Give him is awesome special moves, and some new as well, specially the nut punch, that’s a classic! I would also love to see them involve him with Sonya, its about time we see some sort of romance between this 2, not just hints.

3- Sindel

I feel she was too undeveloped in MkD storywise and gameplay wise. She needs an awesome story like in Mk3, and her classic moves (the hair!!!!).

4- Mileena

The new princess, how can she not return. Keep the Arabic look, but give her new moves and a stronger storyline.

I think hotaru has a good chance to have a kick ass story line and Sektor is due for a long awaited invasion that will consist of him kicking some major ass along with his tekunin army............also i like the new evil raiden idea but i kind of like his old good form.......he looked a lot better.....not to mention Shao Kahn, he was the greatest MK boss in my opinion and it would be sweet if they brought him back for his long awaited revenge
( GC MK did not count in my opinion)

Noob Saibot - Now we see some personality to this character and I hope to see how his role is expanded in the next Mortal Kombat. Plus he is a really neat character to have in the game, a shadowy and ghost like undead ninja is something really cool in my opinion.

Sub - Zero - Sub-Zero is a must to have in Mortal Kombat. I love to play as him and I love to fight against him. He has many enemies that keep him coming back to fight. I hope to see much drama in his future plot that involves many different characters in the game.

Liu Kang - I love Liu Kang because he is something pure in Mortal Kombat. I have studied in Shaolin Martial arts myself and he represents the Shaolin beliefs well in his character. I see Liu Kang as a seeker of peace and that is why I see him always returning to fight against those against it. He is the champion of Mortal Kombat but even if he was not I would still want to see him around for many games to come. But this time around he needs to have a DIFFERENT LOOK!

Kung Lao - Kung Lao to me seems like a pretty awsome character. The hat and his mysterious attitude is what made me like him alot in Mortal Kombat, and also that he carries that attitude for the good guys is a nice thing in my opinion. I don't see him wanting to step it up to be the main hero because I don't think he would want that kind of attention. I would want to see Kung Lao though have a much larger role in some of the other characters stories and mabey even give him arch nemesis.

Johnny Cage - I feel that Johnny Cage is the most human out of all the Mortal Kombat characters. The way Linden Ashby portrayed him in the movies is the Johnny Cage that I want to see in the games. Johnny Cage was very cocky and was an attention craver but when serious situations happened he stepped it up and became very serious himself. I would like to see his relationship with Sonya be played with a little more and have him play a big role in helping Liu Kang and I want to see him interact with the damn bad guys. In the games the villains seem to care about the threats in Raiden, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Sonya, and even Jax but they seem to over look Johnny Cage's potential. I'd like to see that incorporated in his story.

Sonya - Sonya if a force for Earthrealm and she is the kind of warrior that does not stop fighting. She is a classic character and I like her very hard attitude towards the other characters. I feel that Johnny Cage could mock her for that and those two would butt heads as they fight against the Other world threats. Sonya is one of the main heroes in the game and she claims the title as Earthrealms main girl.

Quan Chi - Quan Chi had his time at the top but I like to see him as a very manipulative and calculating underdog in the next game compared to the boss. He would have a position like Imhotep in The Mummy Returns. In the next game I'd like for Quan Chi to compete with the other villains for ultimate power while laying low to the warriors of Earth. He would encounter some of the Earthrealm warriors who would see him as a big threat because he killed them and they would have conflict with him. But I want Quan Chi to seem powerful in the eyes only to the warriors of Earthrealm. The main bad guy in the next game should be able to swat Quan Chi like a fly in my opinion. It would add much to play with for Quan Chi's story.

The rest of the characters could varie in my tastes. Raiden, Kano, and Scorpion are three faces I would like to see in the next game aswell.
