I would probably say Tremor. He isn't my favorite of the four, but he is the best rounded addition.

I have never really liked Tanya as a character. She has always felt more of a pawn than an actual player. Her exclusion wouldn't have hurt my feelings, but I know she has a huge fanbase, so I wont spoil it. She just isn't new, and honestly she should have been part of the main roster to begin with.

Jason...I love Jason. He is a juggernaut of hellish proportions and the bane of drunk, horny teenagers everywhere...specifically Camp Crystal Lake.The thing is, I really just can't picture him in a fighting game. All I can see him doing is slinging his machete around like a great scary idiot brute. He is a badass, yes, he just seems like an out of place badass.

Predator is honestly my favorite character of the batch. I can see him being a skilled warrior with a vast array of potential variations and fatalities. The sad fact is he is a guest character, and his own universe and cameo listings are massive anyway.

When it comes to Tremor, he only wins because he is part of the universe, and he has a clean slate. His move set is new to the franchise, he already has potential rivalries, plus his design is generally cool. I like Predator more, but the Yautja have had plenty of time to shine. Time to let Tremor take the spotlight.

Not a fan of the kombat pack feels like lost opportunities but...

1. Tanya (fills the 3d/mk4 era niche which is a good thing)
2. Predator (fan of the movies)
3. Tremor (throwaway character)
4. Jason (doesnt really fit the MK vibe)

While I don't really care for guest characters spawn and pinhead (from hellraiser) would have fit the mk vibe better then the other 2.

1. Predator is my favorite in design hands down. He should be pretty great and he comes with weathers and commando cage so that dumps on everything else.

2. Tremor has a fresh element in mk and adding grappling to it sounds dope. His themed pack sounds meh.

3. Jason will be another brute but Tremor kinda stole that thunder from him imo. Even though jason will probably be all hack, slash and headbutt but still. Kraken reptile, vampire mileena and pharaoh ermac sound awesome.

4. Tanya looked ok but I was never interested in her character. Didn't hate her but I didn't play her either so I can't speculate on her like I can the others. The classic mk1 kano alt sounds legit.

Tremor is the DLC character I'm most excited for.

As for ranking, it goes like this for me...

1. Tremor

2. Predator

3. Tanya

4. Jason

I can see myself not caring what he plays like and just having Tremor as one of my mains. His design is absolutely fantastic, and I love it to death. Here's hoping we can actually get some alts for these DLC characters this time.

After that it's Predator, Jason, and Tanya in that order.

Not hyped for any of the four, but I'm glad Tanya made it. Would have been hyped for her if her design was more inspiring. Anyway...

01) Tanya - glad she's in.
02) Tremor - indifferent.
03) Predator - don't want guest characters. Placed him 3rd as I've seen 2 Predator films.
04) Jason - don't want guest characters. Placed him last as I haven't seen any Jason films.

Tanya. Not sure on her design yet, but she looks unfinished so I'll wait to see her in action, but I'm excited for her because we haven't seen her in a decade.

Tanya > Tremor > Predator > Jason.

Not a fan of guest characters so I probably won't buy them, but I could be swayed by Predator if his moveset looks fun. I've always found Jason rather bland.

I'm equally hyped for both Tanya & Tremor. No interest in the guests.

I remember Temp on the NK responded "Of course they jump to Tremor, jesus christ" or something to that effect.

What else could that mean? a "kind of new" ninja?

I had also read that Rigo Cortes tweet, and even prior to all that I didn't buy that the petition made a difference. I had just completely forgotten about that tweet and Gillbob316's post reminded me of it.

Oh hell yeah..."klassic" isn't the term I would use, but then again, that could also be subjective. I had thought Klassic meant MK1-MKT (again, noting that I didn't play SF, so Tremor was not even close to being a suspect for me), but I'm sure others included MK4 in that list as well. So it's whatever floats your boat I suppose.

Originally my guesses were Kabal and Baraka, then as time went on, suspected it to be Shang Tsung and Liu Kang. Way off base on both accounts, ha.

Tanya 100%, I've been waiting for her to be DLC since MK9, was so gutted when she didn't make the cut.

Surprisingly I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with Tremor. He wouldn't have been my first choice of character, but he could be interesting.

Tanya will be one of my mains, I liked her design, they just need to give her a better face.

I also have interest in Predator and Tremor, the first because of his movies and Tremor because of his design which I liked.

I don't give a damn for Jason.
