Hey guys where would you like to see the more established character's stories go? After Deception:

Liu Kang: After having been brought to life, Liu Kang has been traumatized by his death. So much that he is no longer the same man we knew. He has grown angry, he believes that he has been used by everyone; Raiden, Kitana, he refuses to take orders from anyone and becomes a lone wolf. Ultimately this will lead him into conflict with his best friend which will lead them both to tragedy.

Kung Lao: After being freed from Onaga's control and after Onaga's defeat, Kung Lao tries once again to retire. However the recent ordeals with Raiden's abrubt change and Shao Kahn's apparent return force Kung Lao out of retirement and into battle once more. Though he is growing tired of the seemingly endless battle.

Scorpion: Now Champion of the Elder Gods, Scorpion starts down a path to redemption. Deep down, he is hoping that this will allow him to ascend to the Heavens and finally be with his wife and child, but yet there is something that catches his attention, the return of his murderer Noob Saibot. Upon learing his identity from Sub-Zero, Scorpion feels guilt-ridden and a sense of responsibility. He journeys with his one-time foe to destroy the evil he helped create.

Sub-Zero: After learning the horrible truth of what happened to his brother after he died, Sub-Zero wants to find a way to restore his brother to his old self. He meets up with his old foe Scorpion and tells him what happened and together the two join up to stop Noob Saibot.
