I am glad they take the time with Predator. I don't want NRS to rush him. For me Predator is the most exciting announcement for MK ever. I hope they go all the way with him since this is never going to happen again. I'm still dreaming for an unmasked Predator.

I would expect an announcement in the next week, maybe sooner. I am pumped for Predator too, Tanya didn't really do much for me, I played with her for about a week then went back to my other characters, but I assume Predator will become one of my mains.

Even though I don't fully agree with this, I understand where you're coming from. I still thoroughly enjoy Pyromancer but her other variations didn't click with me like Pyro. Which is saddening because I really wanted to like Dragon Naginata, but there's so many possibilities in that variation I just end up feeling overwhelmed.

I'm actually shocked by how excited I am for Predator. Usually I'm the "ew...guest characters" type of fan, but I think his widely varied arsenal and agility get me going. Can't wait.

Read an article the other day on the possibility that one of his variations might focus on Sektor and Cyrax's abilities considering they're missing from the roster. Pred has got the net, and not necessarily rockets, but has explosive projectiles. It's food for thought regardless and I wouldn't mind if that was the case seeing that I'm a Sektor and Cyrax fan.

I think we'll be hearing one soon. I hope he's released July 2nd - a month after Tanya, since she was released a month after Jason. I also think Johnnys commando skin was teased in that fathers day Johnny/cassie picture that was posted on twitter, so we should be seeing the predator soon.

I wouldnt get my hopes up, look at what they did with Jason, his head isnt deformed or scarred or even greyish in color, he just looks like a completely normal alive big man with a mask, so yeah I dont think they'll be giving predator anymore then they have to

Yeah, but Predator has his mandibles showing through his mask in the Kombat Pack pic and his render on the character select screen

For all we know that's variation specific. Jason has his Machete in his render and look what happened with that.

I would expect soon. Predator's usage has gone up so they must be testing him.

I believe that is an early design glitch. Subsequent shots of the Predator render do not show it. The very brief teaser they show of Predator (from the Jason Kombat cast) also showed the Predator with an intact mask.

It COULD be a variation but...why the fuck would they think the predator's mandibles sticking out of its mask is a good look? It looks broken, like the mandibles are clipping through.

Looks like my estimation of July 7th may be inaccurate - given the fact that we practically downloaded the Predator data yesterday, I wouldn't be surprised if he shows up next week.

I'm gonna have to agree on the July 7th date here as well. We just got the compatibility pack yesterday, usually the character comes out 2 weeks after that so July 7th would mark that date.

We'll probably get an MKast on monday the 6th.

Idk why she didn't click with me. I used her for a while when she came out, I stuck with the staff one and learned it pretty well I think, but idk , she just didn't click with me for whatever reason, which is funny because I wanted to like and use her pretty badly, I actually forced myself to use her longer than I probably should have because I wanted to like how she played hahaha

I am super pumped for Predator, I don't mind guest characters if they are characters I like and all the guests so far have been characters I like (Kratos, Freddy, Jason, Predator) so im all for it hehe

When Mad Max and Sweet Tooth were a rumored guest I was not thrilled at all though, I was lowkey salty about that lol
