In you own opinion, what do you think the new -ality will be?
I think it will be...
Stagemality (stage animality)
Your turn...

I really hope it's not that. Seems too generic

I agree, it always crosses my mind that the wild beasts in the background of the outworld market are waiting to devour the combatants for constantly annoying them, using them as interactive objects. Technically that would be an animality... or stage animality.
There's also a crocodile in the background of the jungle stage.

I really hope it's Brutality. Always was a fan of Brutalities and to see it in future-gen graphics would be amazing.

That was actually from the first Kombat kast. He just does Kotals move where he summons light from the sky, then he stands in it and makes Kotal duck real fast. It was just kind of a joke thing.

Tree-ality
Well, actually I hope for brutalities. Stage fatalities are in anyway and I think the animals gonna get there Food ;)
Oh, there is also a "wolf" in the Background of the Snow Forest stage.

Ok, thanks, but I hope it's some form of a brutality

Stage Fatality with animal/creatures involved.
So far, every stage shown has a creature in it, correct?
Oh yeah, that stage with the dead bodies floating and the wrecked ship...buuuuuttttt, maybe a shark or something comes out? Hmmmmm???
The stage with the Portal in it....I mean, c'mon, a big fucking creature has to come out of that thing, right?!

The dogs in the Destroyed City lend some extra weight to the Animality theory. I'd be a bit disappointed in that, because it would pretty much replace the Stage Fatality, but without all the variety of death scenarios that Stage Fatalities bring. There are only so many ways to make an animal kill a dude, but stages have unlimited potential. "Using a unique feature in the environment to kill your opponent" seems a lot more creative than to simply "feed your opponent to the tiger/croc/wolf/dog pack/possible kraken/whatever." So I'm personally hoping that the animals in the stages so far are mostly just decoration to make the locations feel more "alive," and maybe one or two could be worked into a more traditional Stage Fatality.
Brutalities have a fair shot, since they wanted to do them in MK9 anyway, but it's a bit too much like a regular Fatality for my taste. I'd likely enjoy it if they were like extended X-rays that really brutalized the opponent by visibly breaking every bone and organ in their body before finishing them off.
If this were a democracy, I'd vote for either Friendships or Hara-Kiris. At first I didn't think Friendships would jibe with the darker tone that the game seemed to be going for... but now that we've seen more of the character interactions laced with humor and charm, Friendships don't really seem so out of bounds. And Hara-Kiris could really be insane with the new gore tech.

But seriously, Friendship or bust.

I would like to see Brutalities return as extended X-Ray moves. Most of the X-rays could be fatalities on their own. Imagine everyone having an alternate X-Ray that goes on longer than standard X-rays, leaving their bodies a mangled mess.

They mentioned there will be new -ality, so Brutality is out of question for this. We will obviously be getting a returning -ality and that's when brutality and Friendship comes in.
The Stage Animality would be considered new because, the animals in the
background would be performing it, as apposed to the character morphing into one.

I don't really think its going to be brutalities. Now that we have X-Rays, they just seem irrelevant to me.
Honestly, I think its going to be friendships. They brought back Babalities in the last game to add a little dark humor to the game. I get the feeling that they'll do the same this time around with Friendships.
