You know we'll see at least one or more major plot twists in the upcoming MKX story. Here is mine:
I saw someone's post on a different site's forum mention the possibility of this MKX Sub Zero not being Bi Han or Kuai Liang at all, but perhaps Shang Tsung. Yes I know Tsung appeared to have died in MK9 after Shao Kahn sucked his powers from him and transferred to Sindel, but MK is known for "reviving" dead characters (Ex. Scorpion).
And if it's Tsung, I'll add a second plot twist: this Sub Zero doesn't reveal himself to be Shang Tsung until the very end as the "big bad". After all, Boon did say the big bad would be a "surprise return character".
If Tsung does come back and morphs as Sub Zero, it makes alot of sense as it would allow Tsung to "join" with the good guys by eliminating those who turned against him, such as Shao Kahn's surviving allies, challenge Raiden as someone whose reckless judgment can't be trusted and resulted in indirectly killing off the good guys with his poor choices.
Shang Tsung would target those who are the biggest threats to him, turning Raiden's Earthrealm allies against Raiden, and using them to defeat those who allied with Shao Kahn before revealing his sinister ways. Whether Shang Tsung, as "Sub Zero" goes as far as becoming Grand Master in the Lin Kuei by challenging other members like Sektor or Cyrax.

I could see kotal Kahn turning into the dragon king kind the same way reptile did in deception. I think sub zero is Bi Han and I would love to see Daegon and Movado bring the red dragon back and work with Raiden just to get at Kano.

My plot twist is.....that there will be a happy ending for once. The dead heroes will be brought back in the end, or sent to the heavens. The deadly alliance will be killed. Its just that in MKDA, MKD, MKA, and MK9 everyone always ends up dead in the end or they come back as evil. Since this story covers up to the Kamidogu arc, maybe it will have a similar ending with MKD where the heroes souls are freed from the Dragon Kings Army, similar with the heroes being brought back from under Quan Chi's control. And ending that's conclusive so that we don't have to keep pondering on edge for the next 5 years.

I love a good plot twist!
It is a perfect chance to retcon his morph to last a long time by letting him obtain the Dragon Medallion with the souls of the previous Grandmasters while he is at it. By feasting on dead Grandmasters off-screen, he can enhance his transformation powers. It makes sense that SZ would have access to clan's burial grounds and any of its medical facilities, where he can steal souls from the defenseless wounded or dead. Add some untimely and unexplained Lin Kuei deaths into the the mix then it becomes a fully fledged murder mystery!

Kotal doesn't have scales, so it can't happen.
As for my twist, Cassie is undercover, but actually is aligned with the bad guys. Also, I would like to think that Blaze will be the main big bad.

Speaking of hair!
Personally, my ultimate epik twist would be that Tanya would suddenly grow longer hair and would summon huge epik dragons with it!
Basically, just like Bayonetta!
Basically, her Deception ending would be somewhat canon. She would truly be the "Dragon Kaller".
It would be the most magikal, epik twist!
But I know this would be too epik for the MK team and the world.
But it's okay, because the actual MKX game will be extreme and epik, regardless.

Personally, I think Kassie Cage should remain a girl and she should indeed kill Kobra in an illegal MMA fight!
I really like that rumor about the MKX komic books!!

Just a quick question, do all or most of your ideas have to be blatantly ripping off other games?

He is trolling man. Or he is just plain stupid. Leave him be.
Shortly after the birth of Cassie, Raiden sends Johnny Cage to Seido to learn to control his powers so that he may become the new earthrealm champion. However, this does not have the affect that Raiden intended.
Johnny does learn to control his abilities and becomes extremely powerful, but he also becomes corrupted by the teachings of Hotaru. The lines between good and evil become blurred and Johnny only sees the chaos, which he must bring order to.
Johnny effectively becomes an anti hero. He has no qualms or quarrels with taking out anybody who stands in his way of restoring order to the realms, and making things safer for his wife and daughter.

It is an imaginary twist.
Just like yours about Chameleon and everybody else's twists and twistages about baldness and whatnot.
Have a seat, everyone.
