What if this next game does not meet your requirements?

If the next game doesn't meet my requirements, I just won't buy it.
Again.
That said, my requirements aren't that unrealistic. Just make a mortal kombat sequel without ready-at-hand infinities (if the roster is good, I'll waive that last request). If it's reboot, not only will I avoid purchase, but I'll write a 2000 word essay on bad creative decisions and spam Boon's inbox with it for the next year and a half.

I've started to look at MK as a parent would with a really slow child. I'm so used to it doing things ass backwards that I'm rather pleasantly surprised when it does something right for a change.
And as a result, I'm rather easy to impress. Regardless of how the game ends up being, I'll still buy it and lose a week to it. Whether I continue losing weeks to it remains to be seen. I WOULD like to see some unlockable shit though. That was one thing that totally scuttered MK vs DC's replayability for me.

Nice question..It's in development close to 3 years now, so I think it will propably meet my and anyones expectations. If it fails, then 3 years of waiting will be for nothing. This game must not fail. It's sink or swim for MK right now. In my opinion, if things don't go well with this game, then MK propably goes on a long hiatius and even worse we won't see another game...

I don't understand why so many people are bashing on MK9 even before it's even come out. Comments like ' At this point I expect MK9 to suck' is pretty unecessary considering that no info has been realesed on it.
I just want the MK team to give us solid gameplay, a dark and gorey atmosphere, simple but deadly fatalities, a good roster, and a good storyline. I would rather see a sequel rather then a reboot, but if they do end up doing a reboot, to do it in a smart way.

This. This. Perfect. Everything I want.
