what if kitana konnection video is hinting towards...

the surprising returning boss character... which could be Shao Kahn.
we saw a character standing in the background in one of the stages and it also featured his wrath hammer and armor set.

i remember one of the dev team member as saying that the boss character would be hinted in upcoming videos and this might be one of the hint... or not

just my speculation could also be something entirely different

Could be possible, However I don't think they'll bring back Shao Kahn just yet.

But think it does have something to do with Shao Kahn.
