Well lets see this is mostly just about how you think the future looks for the people that brought us MK so far the games have been okay.It seems to me that the people of Mortal KOmbat are just getting lame with the game.Changing the plots around for every character or changing the game to where everything changes.It seems to be that the people of Mortal Kombat just don't have it any more.What happened to the old it's just a tournament fighting for a specific reason type of deal.Now it's Im fighting to capture this guy and save Earth Realm,Now im fighting to take over earth realm and merge the two realms to awkae the One Being,I must protect this specific person with my life...Come on lets get it back on track and stop with all the bullshit.

the way i see fhe future of mortal kombat is like this. as long at the sales and money is going good with the franchise, the shit will still contine. i bet we would always see characters like sub-zero, scorpion, raiden, and johnny cage in the future games because they are characters that make the game what it is. also the future of mortal kombat i think would include many different ideas that are added to the basic one on one fighting gameplay mechanics. downt the line IF midway is that good in selling mortal kombat and if the technology is that far more advanced, we might experience the Mortal Kombat tournament without even using a controller, but our minds and bodies. Imagine a Mortal Kombat game with virtual reality?
