Also if you could be character specific it would be nice. E.g. Rushdown, grappler, zoning, or trapper. (There are more Variations I'm just sticking to these at the moment) I think for the most part I will be playing Subs cryomancer rushdowm / turtle unbreakable. Then Kano's commando will probably be my grappler/counter (haven't had a chance to see much of the commando variation gameplay but it definitely peaked my interest)

The characters that I usually end up maining are zoners, but recently, I seem to have become fond of the grappler type. As of now, Kano looks the most interesting to play as, but I still want to see the rest of the roster.

I prefer fast and mobile characters. But a grappler like grappler baki would be insane.

My interest in a character isn't really based on their gameplay archetype, but rather on their personalities, design, fatalities, how flashy their special moves are, and how challenging they are to play as.

I do have a fondness for the big powerhouses types like Torr and Goro, though. They're often memorable characters and are difficult to get the hang of.

If Ferra was individually playable, she'd fit one of the rarer fighting game archetypes, the midget, which I personally like.

I'm looking for the fast brawler type with the easy to maneuver button combos.

I am very interested in the teleportation that Quan Chi and Raiden has.

A Grundy or Shazam type of grappler. Excited for some Goro gameplay because Commando Kano just doesn't do it for me, or at least I haven't seen enough of it in action. Seems too reliant on high and low parries and thats simply not practical in my experience. Also a Lex Luther/ Cyrax type of trap and set up character. Sub Zero's rush down variation is a gonna be a must try too but I have the feeling everyone and their mother are gonna be using it which makes it less cool to me for some reason.

A magic-based zoning character.

Zatanna really hit a sweet spot for me in Injustice. A sorcerer/magician character with a huge library of special moves for many situations who was apparently difficult for a lot of people to use effectively.

(I hate...HATE HATE HATE "easy zoning" characters.)

I'm thinking Shinnok, Tanya, Shang Tsung, or a new character will have a variation or two that will fit this bill.

I'm also looking forward to more possible parry/reflect variations of characters. Loved it with Killer Frost in Injustice....looking forward to it with Unbreakable Sub-Zero. Not too hot on it with Kano (NRS can never make me like that character, no matter what they give him, lol). I love cancelling out an opponent's attack or making it work against them.

Most characters are mixed anyway, but i prefer 'balanced' to anything else. The ones who have a little of everything, but not too much because that would be broken as hell, or those that are too much of one without balance also tend to end up broken (*cough cough Deathstroke ahem*)

Zoners piss me off when i fight against them (because AI is cheap), and i can't seem to get the hang of using grapplers most effectively. Also i tend to use characters in non-prescribed ways. Reptile i play pure rushdown instead of zoning/stall, and Sheeva i ended up with a zoning style because i couldn't really get to grips with many of her heavy-damage combos or grapples.
