Let's be honest, Midway won't survive through the end of the year. That will likely leave the Mortal Kombat franchise without a home. Since the series still has legs, there will likely be interest in purchasing the rights.

I was wondering, since the MKvsDCU experience has largely been a positive one for all parties, wouldn't it make sense that Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment (WB owns DC Comics) purchase the rights to future Mortal Kombat games? I think it would be a great fit.
