I hate how people are obsessed with which Sub Zero is in the game. I honestly don't understand the whole Team Bi Han / Team Kuai Liang shit. Who he is doesn't matter, how he plays does. Either one of them could have the moves that this current Sub Zero has. Personally, I hope that this Sub Zero is neither of the brothers.

I thought Hsu Hao and Kobra were fun characters to play.

I wouldn't mind a Mortal Kombat game that had *zero* ninjas.

I generally prefer new characters. I'm frustrated by the fan base's general unwillingness to give new characters a chance.

It bothers me a little that people get so obsessed over the story, they forget its a fighting game.

I liked Kratos in MK9 and I've never even played GoW. I also like Fujin's crossbow, and Chameleon.

I think Drahmin has one of the best backstories in MK.

The story has been a non-factor for me since MKA. I'm no longer invested in it.

It slightly bothers me that it actually bothers people that some of us prefer story over game play. Remember, this is a fighting game with LARGE amounts of story/lore.

HAHAHAHAHA it's funny because I too used to be hardcore into the story until they changed it for Mortal Kombat (2011). At that point, I was like "Fuck the story, I'm too old for this complex shit". I always been more about gameplay in videogames than story, but the Mortal Kombat franchise was the only videogame where I cared about it's story until a few years ago. Every thing I learned through the years don't mean dick anymore, so screw it.
Seriously, I still don't know the difference between Kaun Laung whateverthefuckhisname and Bi Han and I don't care.
All I know is that it's Sub-Zero, he freezes people, and I'm happy.

Catering the tournament players vs. the casuals is a bullshit dilemma. There's nothing in a tournament-perfect game that would be detrimental with a casual players experience.

its a fighting game but the story gives it a reason or purpose for fighting. people want to know more about the characters, who they are or where they come from. thats why story is important.

I'm tired of all the this-tier-that-tier crap and tournament players thinking they're hot shit (i.e., Perfect Legend and so on). You're not reinventing the wheel, for God's sake.

God, I love how there's no right/wrong, popular/unpoular answer. Smoke really lucked out as far as form preference goes.

-Meat is a funny fucking character and I want him to come back. He works for MK's serious/silly tone.

-Even though it sucks, I still take Special Forces as part of the old canon because IIRC nothing contradicts it and there've never been official statements to the contrary that I'm aware of.

-I think Dairou could be a great character with some tweaking, MK needs a good bounty hunter.

-Quan Chi needs to die permanently.

-Reptile should go full lizardman again.

-I wouldn't mind Bi-Han back as Sub-Zero.

-Goro is still one of the best MK characters there is. He just needs attention.

-Khameleon has the potential to be a great character.

I actually thought Deadly Alliance was a really great game, and I really enjoyed the hell out of it. It had an interesting story, and a good mix of old and new characters. I've never understood why people call those years MK's "Bad Years"

I preferred Goro as a good guy in Deadly Alliance, and dislike that they made him a villain again in Deception.

Nitara is one of my favorite characters. I wish they'd bring her back.

I loved playing Konquest Mode in both Deception and Armageddon, and would have bought either of them as a standalone game. I love the MK story, and exploring the world more in-depth/interacting with nearly all the characters was completely awesome, imo.

I really love "complete" rosters (MK Trilogy, MK Armageddon) and if it were up to me, I'd have every character in every game. Mokap, Chameleon, Meat & All. Over-crowding/Gameplay balance mean very little to me.
