*Unpopular thought* Female character as a boss...

....Considering how they had Sindel single-handedly beat a bunch of people's asses in MK9, it really isn't hard for me to envision Neatherealm making a female bad as hell. In a world like Mortal Kombat, with 25 years having passed, and where sorcery and possession is normal, who's to say that someone like Mileena couldn't be the new head bitch in charge? It would also be something that nobody would expect, because there have been nothing but male bosses in MK.... and another thing...since the timeline of events got altered a bit in MK9, there's a possibility that some characters who we knew to be good in the past, could be bad (and vice-versa) now. Just a random thought... don't kill me if you hate the theory lol glasses

Bosses need to be super tall and imposing looking. Mileena wouldn't work but they could make someone new.

There is a thread called "Who'll be the new boss" and a lot of people want a female boss. Not sure what NRS has planned.

I cannot tell you how many times I've asked for a female boss, main or sub-boss, and I never get it.

I mean, ever played a game called Cardinal Syn? Yeah. Bad-fucking-ass of a female boss you got there.

Unknown from Tekken Tag is a female boss and she's not some huge juggernaut bitch. I think she pulls it off pretty well.

Being how NetherRealm Studios has been getting so much shit for their female character designs in MK[2011], I expect something along the lines of this to happen in the future if a female boss happens.

As much I would like an unexpected boss in MKX, I don't think it's going to be a female. Believe me I think Tanya would be a candidate if she gets confirmed, but just being introduced in MKX crosses her off the list. Who knows after Quan Chi is finally killed, Tanya can be the new sorcereress in place of Quan and Shang and be a potential boss in the MKX sequel.

Once Scorpion gets his act together and figures out Quan was the fucker who killed his family and clan in the next game. I hope. Plus I think his popularity is starting to wane ever since the last game so Troll Chi has to be killed one way or another.

No. There have been numerous great bosses (female and male) that weren't huge and they worked perfectly.

I would love a female boss, but she has to make sense - as would any boss, for that matter. She needs a motive and her motive needs to be present all the way through the storyline, so it builds up to the point where we finally defeat her. Just like Shao Kahn in the trilogy games.

I would absolutely hate it if we got a female boss JUST BECAUSE of having a female boss, just thrown in from the sideline.

I would be down for a female boss yea.

Not mileena though, or really any of the female characters introduced in MK so far, none of them have a boss feel to them, even Sindel.

But if they can come up with a new female boss/sub-boss character yea I'd be up for that.

Sareenas demon form (that I don't think we've ever seen?) could be a potential Sub-boss type. Maybe?

Just a completely Random thought, since the neather realm is at least going to play some role, Maybe even Sareena could be playable in her normal form and have her demon form as a Sub-boss, could be used as her fatality also. Just spill ballin'.

That's true, but they could be a sub-boss for the MK4 era of the Story Mode. There will most likely be more bosses than just the last single ultimate boss. I can imagine Shinnok will be the first, perhaps Onaga will be the second and then someone unexpected will be the last one.

I don't think they will put Onaga in the game. If they do, then I don't think Reptile will make it.

In MK:SM, Jade has this belt-buckle of a cat-demon, but in silver. I just made it gold.
