I've read Kung Lao unlocks with 30 king of the hill wins and Jax unlocks with reach level 7 flawless victory in kustom kombat. I haven't unlocked them myself, so I can't confirm.

Other sites are drawing a ? On how to unlock the other characters, along with hotshot Johnny cage.

Would anyone know how to unlock hotshot Johnny cage?

Dark Emperor Liu Kang will be obtained by beating a bunch of Tower Challenges. I did 5 without Liu and then 5 with and got him. Don't know whether or not you need to use him or whether they need to be consecutive wins.

I got 12 Flawless Victories in Kustom Kombat and didn't get Jax

I just unlocked him. Took me 15 matches (30 flawless victory rounds), in 2 player kustom kombat. You might need modifies on. I think you need at least a 1x modifier. I had 15 second rounds, no blocking and no dashing modifiers enabled.

I got him it's not just 7 Flawless Victories in the mode you have to get them with Jax

I did the tower a bunch of times, lost count of how many, all with different characters who weren't Liu Kang.
I kept NOT getting it.
The one thing that seemed to work for me was when I made sure that I completed all the dragon challenges in a single run. I started noticing in the end that I always missed one or two, so I made it a point to make sure and complete all of them in a single 5 match tower, and when I was actually able to pull it off, bingo, Dark Emperor Liu Kang.
So I don't know if I got him because I managed to complete all the dragon challenges like my hunch indicated, or whether it's a coincidence and I just happened to have fought the right amount of matches/points and that's when I got the unlock.

I'd like to hear someone else confirm which it is.

I hope they're not all too specific to a certain challenge, especially online ones. I'd probably never unlock Kung Lao's skin if you can only do it in KOTH.

I'm curious to see how you unlock Revenant Kitana. I haven't heard anything about that skin yet

Don't think it matters. I got him using kano.

Unfortunately, so far, that seems to be the only confirmed case. Which does suck, because I don't see myself playing that too often. Or at all, for that matter. Now I'm facing the reality that I might HAVE to play it just to unlock that skin.
But for some of the really tough ones... Or in particular, the ones you unlock through the mobile game, I hope they at least make them available as DLC later, because yeah, that's kinda bullcrap that they'd restrict content based on something you may physically not be able to do or get. I mean, this may come as a shock, but not everyone has an iPad or an Android tablet.

Also some guy on reddit claims to have unlocked Hotshot Johnny Cage by winning 10 matches in a row on KOTH survival

What i have.

Revenant Jax. Obtained when Reaching lvl 7 with flawless victory. Just do kustom Kombat a bunch of times.

Revenant Sub-Zero. Obtained when completing tower test your might.

Revenant Liu Kang. Obtained when i got my 25th win with playervsplayer ranked match.

Dark emperess Kitana. Premier tower when you have to use Goro in the living towers section.

Dark emperor Liu Kang. Obtained in tower challenges and in stead of challenging Friends do new tower. Took me 7 times.

Kahnum Mileena. Obtained with Endless tower must win 15 or 20 times.


Revenant Kung Lao and Revenant Kitana. Don't have yet.
Hotshot Johnny also not yet.

I got Revenant Kung Lao today from King of the Hill, I believe it was my 25th win there? I've heard you can get Hotshot Johnny from a winstreak in Survivor King of the Hill.

Wait, that doesn't sound right... What if I'm past level 7? It can't mean that it's too late to get it. Do you mean like, Faction Level 7? And if so, which faction are you with?

Also, I played through the Goro tower in Living towers and did not unlock Dark Empress Kitana, however, after playing a few of the other towers, she ended up becoming unlocked, so I think it simply has something to do with the amount of Living Tower battles you win.

I got Revenant Jax after 15 flawless victories in Kustom Kombat so hope that helps :)

I just unlocked Dark Empress Kitana after completing the 10% health living tower challenge for a first time.

It's rather annoying because someone whose KotH streak is 4 unlocked the skin...whereas I only played it the first day and got a streak of 7...guess what, I have no Revenant Kitana. It's like no one really knows what they've done to unlock them.

For any in here that didn't see my thread earlier, Hotshot Johnny is 10 Survivor KOTH matches in a row.

My friend did it, he told me thats how he unlocked it. He even used it against me online as proof he had it.

Dark Empress Kitana probably isn't from a specific living tower, but rather having completed X number of living towers.

I got mine days ago and was completely surprised by it.

Easiest way to get Revenant Jax is to get a second controller and go into Kustom Kombat. Set the modifier to 'Brutality Kombat'. Pull your characters Brutality to finish the match with a Flawless Victory. Rinse and repeat until Revenant Jax unlocks. I think I played 10-12 Brutality Kombat Kustom Kombat matches before he unlocked. *EDIT* NOTE, this is a good way of leveling up your Kombat Kard and Faction Rank.
