I think if this was a newer build she'd have her E3 hair and I think the punch would've went to the X-Ray internal perspective. Of course they could've just cut it off or something but it looks incomplete here to me.

As for the none X-Ray part, it's a teaser. For all we know, she might rapidly punch the dude in the nuts and the camera zooms in per hit until it goes into full X-Ray.

But I dislike everything about Stryker and Sonya, stories and appearances, don't mind that they are blonde, caucasian, female, male, gay, hetero whatever, their appearance just seems bland to me, nothing special.

And of course there are more humans in the game that I do like, Kung Lao, Jax, Kano, Kabal, Nightwolf and some others I forgot.

But most of those are freaks of nature or freaks of humanity, so I don't know if they count :-p

I do like Sonya for her role in Mortal Kombat Annihilation, she made me giggle a lot there, especially when you watch MK1 before Annihilation and Sonya suddenly had a haircut in like 1 second.

So far there are no signs of the main trademark iconic moves such as the Leg Grab, Bicycle Kicks, Shadow Uppercut, Shadow Kicks and Energy rings. I still think there's a chance for Sonya, specially since they went out of their way to give her a new unique Kiss (clearly a reference to Sonya's original Kiss of Death).

Sonya can still have her poisonous Kiss Mist if she is in, plus her other trademarks and her variation of the Cartwheel. As for Johnny, well, I still think he has pretty good chances, but, that Nut Punch is making me nervous for him. Ed Boon has hinted for both, so, crossing fingers here.

It had crossed my mind but they wouldn't show alternates this early in the promotion cycle and there was no mention of Cassie's hair changing from variation to variation. Most of the changes in appearance seem to be related to costume and clothing or power glows, not physical changes to their bodies.

Also we know that they changed Cassie's Sonya-esque show hair to the shaved bun that she had at E3, that's the loading screen render they released which makes me think it's the most recent which makes me think this is an old build.
