You know it's funny...I despise Tremor not because of the character, but because of this ass-backward fan base. He started out as nothing more than a dumb, boring rip off of Scorpion's MK4 design and Jax, appearing in what has to be one of the single worst games ever created in the 40 year history of video games.. But because he's a ninja, and ONLY because he's a ninja, Tremor is by far, hands down one of the single most popular, if not THE most popular "character" ever created for the Mortal Kombat franchise.

The ONLY reason Tremor was ever popular to begin with is because he was designed as a ninja. That will always be the case. And it's why I despise the fans of Mortal Kombat - no matter how much progress this series makes, no matter how much it reinvents the genre, improves upon the formula, takes the story and whole series in new directions, it always boils down to "Where's Tremor?".

So no, the hate is not toward the crappy Tremor character itself, but the fanbase for being so hung up on pointless characters. I never thought I could harbor such utter hatred toward people with the same interest as me, but...there it is. So the sheeple got their Tremor...and you can bet anything they still won't be satisfied in the end. Hopefully we'll never see him again after this.


As for Tasia - nice to see a somewhat original character make it into the comic.

Quan Chi and Shinnok may have debuted in Mythologies, but they were always plan to transition to MK4. Same with Sareena, she was planned to crossover to MK4 but time limits prevented it, she would later make her debut in MKTE. The 3of them were MAJOR characters in mythologies and they had always had bigger plans for them. Hell, the average gamer remember them from MK4 anyway. No plans were made for Tremor- no thought was put into him. He was just a dumb side character.

Ermac and Skaret were glitches you dum-dum who didn't exist as characters before their debutes in UMK3 and MK9, respectably. So they don't even count. Neither does Blaze as he was at least a background character in a MAIN INSTALLMENT.

I'm not a Tremor fan either. Hell, I never even played Special Forces, so to me he's pretty much a whole new character. But, I enjoyed Skarlet in MK9, so what's so different abut Tremor?
