I don't know if any fightinggame has a character that is made up of wood/plants, but it would be cool to see one in a game.

I'm thinking of a female character, looking a bit like Poison Ivy but has a lot more wooden elements, she should resemble a tree more than a plant.

Her story so far as I thought of is vague. She comes from the living forest.The trees has fed on so many kombatants that they gave sprout to a more lifelike tree.

As for her specialmoves I haven't come up with anything original to her.
She could have a specialmove that is something in the veins of Freddys groundclaw. A close-medium-far special but instead of claws she summons up sharp roots from the ground. Superversion could add a juggle.

Her main special would be a stunattack similar to sub-zeros freeze. But instead of a projectile she once again summons up roots from the ground, but this time the roots grab the feet to make the opponent immobile.

Third move, it would work both as anti-air and juggle. This move could also be a close-medium-far but instead of roots from the ground branches would come into the screen from above and from the sides, the superversion of the move could slam the opponent down for an additional bounce. This move would make the fight really interesting to watch I believe.

Seeing as she has so many projectilebased moves I don't think she should have a regular projectile only for damage but it would be fun to see a move when she extends her arms like Dhalsim or if she would throw/spit some sort of liquid.

I even came up with a short and quite simple fatality. Something like the flower gun in Grim Fandango ;)
She will walk up to the opponent sticking in her arm in her opponents mouth(or go Sonya/Kitana style and give the opponent a kiss) and then plants a seed in the body, which then would cause a tree to grow from inside, branches start to protrude from the mouth, nose, ears and other openings on the body until it starts to penetrate through the skin, break the skeleton and then just leave a bloody tree as a result(maybe one of the living trees from the arena seen in previous games). Maybe with the opponents skull as a face on the tree.
