I have been reading every now and then about this. Can someone shed some light for me on the details of this event? Is it like an e3? What are the odds of any kinds of MK8 news being present at it?

Yeah, it's kind of like an E3. All the major gaming sites like IGN, Gamespot, etc. cover it every year. MK8 is not present and won't be shown for a while. Don't expect anything on MK8 until next year. Bet on 2008 E3.

I figured as much. It's maddening. So May 2008 is the first we'll see anything? and then a november 2008 release? Not likely I think.

There is always SOMETHING at least a year before release. I say october or november we get some kind of news. Boon even stated an announcement would be "soon". Although, like that means SHIT, really.

I heard something about Halo being in the Tokyo game show on Spt 25th. Isn't that also the release date of Halo? This just shows all the major games will be in the Tokyo game show. However...

Does anyone know when the release of UMKDS is? I think we will hear some MK8 news the first week UMKDS is released. Edit: This is the release date. Some news soon to follow in November maybe confused
