It's pretty simple, people are mad Tremor is in because they wanted Fujin, Reiko, or Havik. They feel like he's taking a more valuable character's slot. But I don't see the problem really. He's this game's Skarlet, meaning he'll just get swept under the rug after this game. I don't see the harm in him being in one game.
If that's true, where's the Tanya hate? She took a slot as well. Where's the Liu Kang hate, or the Sonya hate, or the Jax hate? No character "takes" a slot away from another, the slot was given to them by the developers for a reason, and the character that was "snubbed" was left out for a reason.
Tanya gets a pass because she's a 3D era character, actually was requested, and is female.
And people have been hating on Sonya and Jax . People already feel like they're unnecessary because their kids are in the game. Liu Kang gets a pass because people want him to be an anti-hero fire god.
