How about you can pick any clan like the Lin Kuei (sub-zero's clan)or the Armed Special Forces(with Jax and Sonya)?

hmmmmm that would be awsome also....you could pick one of the two......you may also want to pick your rivals also.........maybe you could create a character and lead on your army and go out to demolish other bases and take them over! what about that!?!

O.k. first, I think you should change the title of this thread. Maybe to something like ___ vs__. It's not audasity talkin it's just because I really like this topic and I'd like to see what more people think about it. You know, I don't want to see it buried really fast and, I'ts not my original idea. It's yours.
Now, I like your idea for the fact that it opens up all kinds of possibillities story wise. We could get all kinds of indepth information on the operational differences of each clan, and explore the secrets of each clans art. Leaders, successors, why each chose it's element, ect ect. all the way down to why the representatives we know now are like they are.
1. Earlier White Lotus
2. Earlier Black Dragons
3. Earlier Red Dragons
4. Earlier Shaolin Monks
5. Earlier Brothers of the Shadow
6. Earlier Scorpions' Clan ( I forget the name right now//3a.m.)
7. Earlier Centaurs
8. Earlier Shokan
9. Earlier Reptilians
10. Earlier Vampires
11. Earlier Oni
12. Earlier Deitys
13. Earlier Sorcerers
14. Earlier Shamen
Or later vesions of each, whatever fits your fancy.
Maybe have 2-3 people from each clan, and since every person is different, have them express their martial art in different ways. For instance, 1 shamen could do spiritual sommons and another could do ritual sacrifices. You know, presented though a special move or whatever. Subtle differences like that within each clan. As we can see now, all ninjas are not the stereotypical "hide in the bushes" kind. There are differences to explore.

yeah that would be cool.....like when liu kang was a kid his dream was to be a shoalin monk....hes been training in the white lotus for ages.Once of age he is now the master of the white lotus society!You can control your clan.....and train young ones as well as older ones.The more the better right?
