I've never been a fan of the character, but I am interested to see what role he'll have in the overall MKX story. Given that we saw an image of Sub-Zero fighting cyberized warriors in the comics, I think it may be relatively safe to assume that he has either formed the Tekunin once more or has taken over the Lin Kuei in Sub-Zero's absence.

I'd pretty much never touch the character and his aesthetic doesn't appeal to me, but I'd be all for him getting some more development as a brutal and heartless leader of a cybernetic assassin's guild.

Sektor does need some character development only to get away from Cyrax and Sub-Zero. I don't want him obsessed with capturing Sub-Zero and I'd only want Cyrax to be his lacky. Have Sektor be the leader of a robot army and be a tweener fucking both the good guys and the bad guys over.

True, I'm wondering if he does form them or not.

We all pretty much know Sub-zero is going to take over the Lin Kuei and become the grand master(Grandmaster variation pretty much says so)

But should they go the route of Sektor forming the Tekunin again or should they make him a character that does everything himself.

All he cares about is power and being ruthless, In the original timeline his programming became even more corrupt, which made him a bigger threat.

So It'd be interesting to see him and he better be playable.

sektors gameplay was fun but other than that he sucks. He doesn't need to be in MKX

Of all the cyborgs out there, Sektor is the only one who fits my play style. Story aside, since I don't care about story anyway in a fighting game. So, Let's go Ketchup. If only ONE cyborg to make it, it should be Sektor. Who isn't really getting that much love that he deserves compared to Cyrax(most populr among the cyborgs I don't know why), Smoke and Cyber Sub.

Sorry fans of Cyrax, Smoke and Cyber Sub, but Sektor gets my vote.

I understand just like I thought Fujin had a pretty fun gameplay, especially that crossbow that came out of no where I loved it.

But still his story sucked ass. getting killed every two minutes.

Let's hope Fujin gets a better story in MKX.

Questioning why people like a certain character is kind of pointless, but I have my reasons for liking Cyrax over the others.I remember once upon a time when the "Cyber-Ninjas" were the worst idea ever on these boards, and anyone who liked them was an idiot.

I hope at least one cyborg makes it into the game.

Of course I'm hoping Cyrax makes it, but if Sektor is in over him, then so be it. I'll welcome him with open arms!

I can't tell if this is a speculation thread or another joke/troll bait thread. Either way I would love for Sektor to make it in. I think he still has a chance at making the roster since Cyrax was already confirmed as a non playable challenge tower match. Also, Cyrax has had two games where he was the only cyborg to make it in, while Sektor only got one 3d era game and has never been the only cyborg. As far as I know those are the only two indicators he might be in the game and they aren't too strong. Does anybody know if Boon's teased him at all? Maybe silence is a good thing? I mained Cyrax and Sektor in MK9, really hoping at least one of them makes it in.

True, You can't really point out one reason for people liking a certain characters.

People like the same things sometimes for different reasons.

While I am hoping for Sektor of course, I won't be mad if Cyrax makes it in.

Same goes for smoke, I wouldn't get upset if Smoke makes it in instead of the two as a cyborg.

Although I think smoke is better off as human but that's just my opinion.

Now on the other hand if they gave me the choice, I'll probably dismantle Cyrax before letting him get that spot instead of Sektor.

But as it stands I have no choice, I like both the Cyborgs but Sektor has gotta be my pick, always and forever.

He has been my favorite character from when I was very young and stuck with me till this day.

I would love Sektor to return to MKX. Before the MK remake, I really didn't play or pay much attention to his character. I casually picked him and started playing with him in MK (2011). I loved his play style, story, and higher combos which were a breeze for me to pull off. Sadly my favorite (Mileena) didn't really click with me and I had trouble pulling off her higher combos and getting into her new demeanor.
This was never a problem with her in the past. But after MK2011 I loved the treatment and character development Sektor recieved.

I hope both Sektor and Cyrax are in

I understand why you'd think this is a troll thread, but it isn't.

It's a real thread about people speculating of whether Sektor will be in or not and also if they have something good to say about him or bad.

And Ed boon did tease both Cyborgs a couple of times, but I always take Ed Boon's tweets with a huge grain or salt.

Yeah I agree, I really loved what they did with Sektor, Only thing I hated which Ironically Mileena got.

Is the mix-ups.

Sektor didn't have a lot of Mix-ups. He had two overhead moves.

One was a Combo ender and the other was a combo starter but was very and I mean very predictable.

Mileena on the other hand, Had a lot of mix-up options and combo starters.

I actually played as Mileena a lot online I found her very powerful and sometimes even more so than Sektor because of her Mix-up options.

But like you said, I really liked Sektor's design and gameplay.

They were both spot on.

Here is hoping for both Sektor and Mileena.

Mileena by now is a lock pretty much though, so congratz :).

It started as a troll thread but Sharefrock has done something cool and made it serious. Trolling just gets boring after awhile.

Not to dis him, but he will still be in as DLC which is just as good.

Ohhh Yeah he would, He is the superior Cyborg. there is no doubt about that. He without doubt a dangerous killing machine.

Ruthless and heartless leader will always beat those still searching for their humanity .

I didn't know people would actually talk about Sektor, so I didn't make it but I will gladly discuss this with people and I'm glad to see people actually interested :).

But seriously, I think he will be in the story for sure but I dunno about playable.

If there is going to be Cyborgs playable in MKX, Sektor should be one of them if not the only one :p.

I do like his Compactor (MK3) and Scarecrow (MK9) Fatalities. I also like the homing missile. That is all I like from Sektor. Cyber Smoke had that same uppercut in MK3, just sayin'

Sektor is original, But Smoke obviously took scorpion's Spear... So you can guess who is the original between those two.

Yeah I also liked Sektor's Scarecrow Fatality, I thought that was pretty freaking amazing.

When I first saw it, I felt my body parts getting torn apart, it was truly a masterpiece.

Here is the thing though, If Predator is in MKX as guest character don't you think it would be a waste not to have Sektor in to fight him.

I mean one of them was obviously inspired by the other.

and since Predator came in the 80s and Sektor came in the 90s.

You can clearly see that Predator ripped off Sektor.

Sektor needs his revenge

I love Sektor and I do want him in the game but a part of me doesn't want him to be in just so I can lick your salty tears, along with those of Tanya fans.

Reptile is already in so either way, it's a win-win for me.
