MK vs DC has been out for how long and we've already know this? Yeah, this is old news for us, if there's news that came out during the release of this game, chances of it being new is incredibly dim.

Boon also said the "next" mk game was going to be darker and grittier than before, and go back to its more serious roots ............ and then we get a trailer with Scorpion fighting Superman and MK vs DC is announced........ I would take what ever Ed Boon says with a very small grain of salt.

That really pissed me off, I was really looking forward to a darker MK (compared to Armageddon). I had high hopes for the next MK when I read that article.

Then MKvDC was announced and I wanted to do a fatality on everyone at Midway.

And THEN it turned out to be surprisingly good

Personally I didn't think it was all that good. I mean the fighting engine (minus the gimmicky mid-fight mini-games) was more shallow than previous installments.

Less combos, fighting styles simplified, unbalanced characters, special move spam-fest, only 2 game modes - story and arcade (story just being arcade with cutscenes between fights), online doesn't work for the most part.

It's an empty shell of a game and could have been so much more.
Midway, I'm disappointed in you! tsk tsk!
