Well to me this is the perfect roster.

Scorpion,Sub-Zero,Reptile,Liu Kang,Kung Lao,Raiden,Sonya,Jax,Johnny Cage,Kano,Shang Tsung,Quan Chi,Baraka,Mileena,Smoke,Ermac,Noob-Saibot,Shao Kahn,Goro,Kintaro,Sindel,Sektor,Kenshi,Mavado,Drahmin,Kitana,Fujin,Jade,Reiko.

Those in general to me are either fan favorites or characters who can be toyed with and given an interesting return(like fujin and especially reiko). MK7 is going to be a HUGE project. It's going to be a leap from all the MKs in every possible category. I believe Midway should focus on the fan favorites and giving them GOOD storylines and filler characters like Darrius and Dairou. If there is going to be new characters(which obviously there should be), make them interesting and not filler. Midway, we are not stupid. We know when you actually put effort into something and when you don't.

This game should have 30-40 characters IMO because next generation consoles they can hold more info and they have a lot of time!!!!

All the new characters in Deception and Deadly Alliance plus all of the ninjas.Ermac,Sub-Zero,Scorpion,Smoke(both),Reptile,Cyrax,Sektor,Definitely Rain,hes been missing of late,Noob,Kitana,Sindel,perhaps a few MK4 characters....Kung-Lao,Lui-KangThe tag-team gig is ok...but i prefer a tag-team mode online!!! Or just every character!!!!!
Or a endurance mode where you can have 6 people in one room,and have an even 3 vs 3 endurance MK style like back in UMK3 arcade mode Endurance match..That would be interesting,plus Kombat mode,Endurance mode,Tag-team mode,Another type of Chess mode,Tournament mode,Spectator mode,Puzzle mode(different type),practice mode,custimization character mode...where you can literally create your guy from scratch with given moves to choose from examp:freeze,tele- lift,teleport,bicycle kick..They must have a 6 player in one room spectator mode,as well as a tag-team mode!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now that I think of it, it makes me think of a "Where are they now?" thing, LOL. But I think it would be cool to see them all together with some kind of reunion type theme. Like the One-Being could take them and transport them somewhere where they would all have to work together to get free and save the realms and themselves or fight eachother to be granted freedom. The only thing would be is that they would be the current versions of the themselves, years later with the new appearances, but with different motives and different alliances than the original MK1. For more charactors, you could include the MK2 cast as well.

With this characters,MK7 will be the best MK.

evry level u could choose a different warrior from your clan
or a create a character mode or a singular sort of konquest/arcade for each charecter
