Yea but, here is just a small theory. They did not release everything. Maybe there a still characters that havent been revealed yet. I think MKX still holds many awsome secrets.

We have almost 30 characters so don't lie there.

I wouldn't get my hopes up too much for secrets/rumors like in the past. Ed Boon just like to mention it, because he knows that's one of the things fans like. So he pretends there are secrets that nobody will find untill maybe a few years. MK9 didn't have that many secrets either.

It doesn't bother me that there aren't many secrets, but I just don't like it to be used as marketing bullshit.

I believe the length in MKX is 2hrs 30 mins, the length of MK9 was 2 hrs 18 minutes.

btw am I the only one expecting dlc story chapters? They were requested in mk9 and there are some clearly absent things in the story...

Although mkx story has less chapters, It has Longer cinematics.

The scenes alone are 2 hours, the fights in gameplay will take another 60/90 minutes.

Last time I checked mk9 story lasted 3 hours with all the fights played and no continues


If there is something worth coinmplaining is the non canon role of some humans and the short number of stages.

Wasn't there also something said along the lines of 'the final boss is an unexpected returning character'. Pretty much everyone guessed Shinnok from the moment the game was revealed...

Whilst I have my complaints about the roster and other decisions or promises that have fallen flat, I'm still excited to play the game as it does look like a lot of fun.

There is no choose your destiny. In the "Next" Trailer they showed the towers for a sec and there was "Novice" "Warrior" "Champion" In the actual game there is only one tower which you play to get the ending.
