The next MK game my idea

The next MK game should bring it back to it's roots and make it a 2D fighter just like MK3...just with new characters and new arenas. Just like going back to the basics.

I don't want this next game to go back to 2D. We're living in the new generation of technology, we need to stop living in the past and move on.

I really have severely mixed emotions on this subject. I believe in fact that There should be both 2D and 3D games.
