A variation change could be the tattoo and the black lipstick.

I hope they do! But NRS has never had more than two female DLC characters in a game, and we've already got Tanya.

It's not about whether you think it's a GOOD outfit, but about how much work they put into the design. Tanya has an entirely new design, while Sareena is basically just rocking her Armageddon look with some pants.
(Personally I think Tanya's new outfit is excellent -- it's the hair and the inexplicably lighter skin tone that I'm not feeling.)

Tanya has a bland outfit and she is DLC confirmed so looking at a character's outfit is not the best indicator of potential DLC in my opinion. All the characters have got good outfits.

Hardly. Tanya was always going to get a new costume because she was announced as a DLC character before the the game was even out. NRS planned on Tanya being playable.

Yes. That's exactly our point. Anyone they've planned on making playable probably already has a new costume. That means Li Mei is more likely than Sareena or Frost.

Thats my exact reasoning for why Li Mei will make it over Sareena and Frost. She also has Tara Strong as her voice actor.

It does not mean at all. Ed Boon said in an interview that there are no plans at this point to release further DLC. Just because Li Mei is in a different costume, which is wholly generic I might add hardly the sort that we would see her fight in, does not mean she has a higher chance.
Most likely it will depend on a fan demand just like it did with Tremor and Tanya IF there is going to be more DLC fighters.

So what? A lot of the VAs voiced multiple characters.
In all honesty that costume is so drab and dull it does give her a chance lol but even so nothing about her screams fighter and nothing alludes to her being anything but a normal refugee.
Meanwhile Sareena is punching Kitana in her dumb revenant face and Frost is picking fights with Scorpion (and losing quickly)
Even Bo Rai'Cho refers to himself as an old warrior.

Her costume is dull? Lol sure. If her costume is dull then what are Jacqui, Sonya, Johnny, and Takedas costumes? Jacqui has a bland military outfit. Sonyas isnt all that exciting. Johnny has a blue shirt with a vest lol. Takedas costume is a like Raiden from MGS but not as good

Dull dull dull and dull, That's why I say with a costume that boring looking she's probably got good chances.
