Salazar was described as a lone wanderer thats skilled in weaponry. Erron Black fits that description pretty good, I'll just assume the Kung Jin and Ron Tan Cho are also in the game, just with different names.

I remember there was a character shown in one of the living towers that looked sorta strange, looked like he was bald and had sunglasses or something, idk

I have a feeling kung jin and ro tan cho are non canon, webseries only characters. And salazar seems like the web series version of erron black.

The webseries has little reason to introduce its own characters when its entire purpose is to promote MKX. Legacy didn't have any original characters as leads, and it wasn't even tying into anything. Also pretty sure "Salazar" is just Erron's name for the casting call and he'll still be called Erron in the actual series; it's using Cassie, Ferra, and Torr and not its own "versions" of them, after all.

I have a feeling bow guy is Kung Jin... That's the rumor going around.

"Salazar" is most definitely a code name used for Erron Black on the casting sheet. It's common for producers to use a fake alias for certain characters who are bound to cause hype.

The web series also has Shang Tsung, and he just got deconfirmed (allegedly)

Youre right about codenames on Casting Calls. Salazar could be Erron, and Kung Jin could very well be Kai.

Does anyone have that pic of the bow guy in the tower? I recall that he looked like an Osh-Tek warrior.

People complaining about the new characters is getting so old, half the roster has been announced for one. So I don't see the point in complaining that they haven't shown new characters since E3 and thinking NRS lied and aren't going to have any new comers. Patients patients patients.

Kai isn't Kung Lao's cousin. Some of the names could be codenames, but they wouldn't use outright fake bios for casting calls.

Without a doubt, I can see Erron Black and Takeda coming in as new comers. Would love to have Jacqui too, but she is iffy.

Maybe, it's a decendant of Nightwolf, Osh-Tekk or Kai is the one with the bow? The characters in the towers look like stone carvings and blurred. So it would be hard to tell.

Erron would be awesome as long as he feels different enough from Cassie when it comes to guns.

Archer could be someone entirely new or even one of the remaining named characters.

It's very possible for people to have black relatives ya know. It's not the 60's anymore man. It's also a new timeline. If they can retkon KabaL into being Stryker's partner, they can retKon 2 shaolin monks into cousins.

In addition to the four new ones already announced I think we will see;

Takeda, jacqui, Erron and another earthrealm warrior making a total of 4 new earthrealm warriors and 4 new outworld warriors to take us into future MK games and leave behind some of the old ones for good!

I hope for 4 that will not even appear in the comics and thus are totally new. I don't mind the way NRS handles the announcement of old characters at all, but this way we already know too much. They could've just released Kotal & Cassie for E3 imo. I want all the new ones to remain under wraps, even Erron Black and them, that way people can speculate and we actually have to play the game to find out what even happens to the new comic characters if they don't make the cut.
