Is a new thread really necessary when there are dozens of complaint threads already literally saying the exact same things? Do you have a thread quota you have to reach or something?

We know half the roster. There is still several weeks left with several big trailers that will no doubt give us more reveals. Are they keeping their cards close to their chest? Yes. Here is what I think.

We will get several more big reveals like Ermac, Reptile, Quan, Raiden, ect but the rest of the roster will only be briefly glimpsed like Liu Kang, Jax, Sonya, ect.

How you see it as a 'lack' of info is beyond me. In two months we've learned about some of the Online modes, we learned about Faction Wars, we got 4 official character reveals and several more were tossed in as easter eggs. The streams are purely meant to ONLY show off stages and variations, which they do successfully so I don't know where you're coming from with them showing us nothing of value.

To put it bluntly, they have given you plenty, you're just not happy with any of it so its not a question of there being a lack of information, its more a question of what the hell exactly do you want to know?

I certainly hope so. I want this game to be fucking RUINED for me and everyone else before it is even released.

I want to know every character. Every x-ray, fatality, brutality. Every story leak. I want someone to go total 2011 on this game and fucking spoil the shit out of it for me.

Then your argument and this thread is completely pointless. What you're complaining about is not NRS marketing, what you're complaining about is that there has been no leak. A company revealing everything about their game before release is unheard of and quite honestly ridiculous to expect anything of the sort.

I'm fine with how they are doing things.

We are getting a stream next week and a possible character reveal. Next month is going to be grand as they'll drop a lot on us like bombs. It will definitely be explosive!

They only thing that I'm not happy about is that they haven't had a character reveal yet this month, but oh well. We will get one next week, hoping for two at the most.

How has there been a lack of info...?

We know of 14 characters, and at least one other is being revealed within the next week, and then we'll get others revealed.

We already know that not all the main roster will be known prior to release but "most of it will be".

We have a comic telling us story background.

Info was given about Factions, the Tower mode and what all 3 towers are about.

We know a few story details, including how long the story spans (starting from right after MK9 then moving on bit by bit until it's 25 years later).

We know Brutalities are back, how variations work & that characters have more than one fatality, and that there's also another type of finisher & there's costume alts with 15 more to come in the Kombat Pack.

Also we know the Kombat Pack has 2 guests and at least 2 Klassic Kombatants.

And on top of all of that we keep getting bits of info every day via tweets posted by Shaun Himmerick, Tyler, Derek, Shawn Kittelson & Ed Boon plus others involved in the franchise (comic, web-series, and the game).

That is not a lack of info; and I've not even mentioned the fact that NRS have also been de-confirming characters so that we know who definitely won't be in the game.

Doesn't seem like there's a lack of info; sure there could be a bit more but some more is coming, and there could have also been less info so just be grateful we know as much as we do at this point.

I try not to get excited for mks anymore. Yea I do at certain points like announcements, reveals etc. But one thing I gathered by doing the "hype train attitude" is dissapointment. What I mean is I hyped up mk9 for myself and the lack of content kinda killed it for me. The krypt was a waste. On ps3 that could of been quadrupled in kontent. I'm one of those players who likes to be immersed into the game knowing I have to bust my ass for its reward system. Mk9 didn't do that so I'm hoping mkx will redeem mk9's krypt efforts. So far, yea it is disappointing. I'm still holding out til this roster is revealed. I'm still holding on to hope for Shinnok's playable Inclusion.

Some of us don't want the entire story and roster to be revealed before release. There is something to being surprised, but I guess that is old fashioned.

I would be happy with 4 more reveals, or 5.
And they are going to show the brutality, I think that's pretty cool!
