I think Sindel will die in Armageddon and Kitana will become Queen. However, Liu Kang should not marry Kitana and become King. Lame. He should stay dead and be allowed to rest in peace.

I don't see Sonya and Stryker as a couple.
And if Sonya's daughter is old enough to fight...shouldn't Sonya herself therefore be too old to fight herself?

My personal ideas for the next gen...

- Earth will be decimated. Thousands, maybe millions die. In the next gen whoever's left will be trying to pick up the pieces.

- Fujin will become Earth's Guardian after Raiden disappears. He will try to guide the survivors of Armageddon to rebuild Earth.

- Liu Kang stays dead. Kung Lao will become the leader of a new White Lotus that will try to rebuild Earth and teach new Shaolin monks.

- Shao Kahn will be destroyed by the combined effort of Kitana, Sindel, and Mileena. However, Sindel will be fatally wounded during the battle.

- Li Mei becomes fully corrupted by the evil taint in her soul and kills Bo' Rai Cho. After Onaga's destruction she comes to her senses and is horrified by what she did. She returns in the next gen trying to redeem herself.

- With Shao Kahn and Onaga's deaths, Outworld becomes a chaotic feudal land divided up by territories and different rulers. Warriors like Ermac and Li Mei try to maintain peace in the realm.

- Kitana becomes Queen of Edenia and all portals to the realm are closed off forever so the realm can finally live in peace.

- When the portals to Edenia close, Jade becomes stranded in Outworld and is enslaved by Tanya.

- During the battle with Kahn, Mileena lets go of her hatred for Kitana and remains in Outworld to forge a new life for herself.

- Smoke sacrifices himself to destroy Noob Saibot's army and Noob himself is destroyed by a combined effort from Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Sareena. Afterward, Drahmin becomes the new ruler of the Netherealm and begins planning his next move.

- The Black Dragon, Red Dragon, Tekunin, and Special Forces will have an all out war. Many will die and when the smoke clears, Kira will emerge as the new leader of the one united Dragon Clan. In the next gen, they will act as a counter to the White Lotus and Lin Kuei, trying to make sure the chaos never ends.

- Sonya Blade survives the Clan Wars and retires from the Special Forces to settle down with Johnny Cage. They have a daughter who joins the Special Forces in the next gen.

- Witnesing Armageddon, Nitara will realize the only way to ensure the safety of the Vampire realm is take power. She and other Vampires begin raiding the crippled realms like Earth and Outworld, rounding people up like cattle to be fed on.

- Seido and the Chaos Realm will merge together, plunging the realm into a destructive war.

- Sareena will remain with the Lin Kuei and learn to control her Demonic instincts, but she desires to find a way to become human.

- Raiden will disappear after Armageddon, further drifting into anger and darkness. He'll eventually realize that the Elder Gods are as much to blame for what has happened as anyone else. He'll decide to take power for himself and rebuild the realms as he sees fit.

- With Raiden going out of control, the Elder Gods will summon their Champion Scorpion again to fight.

My own thoughts:
- Kitana will become the new Queen of Edenia after Sindel's death
- Jade will be the new general of Edenia
- Kung Lao will become the new leader of the White Lotus Society
- Li Mei slays Bo Rai Cho while the evil taint took control over her. Horrified of what she has done, she tries to redeem herself.
- Fujin shall become the new protector of Earthrealm
- Sub-Zero will retire as grandmaster and hands his place to another warrior
- Scorpion has ascended to the heavens after killing Quan Chi and becomes the Elder Gods' Champion
- Reptile and Khameleon should repopulate their race
- Raiden returns as a corrupted god
- Kira becomes the new head of the Black Dragon clan
- Sonya retires from Special Forces (and finished with Kano) and is married to Johnny Cage. They have a daughter who will be in future MKs.
- Liu Kang should ascend to the heavens and stay there
- Ermac will try to maintain order in Outworld after Shao Kahn and Onaga's deaths which chaos was released
- Smoke sacrifices himself to stop Noob's army and is killed. Noob has been killed by his brother Sub-Zero and Sareena. EDIT: No offense but your theories don't make sense, Motaro11.

- Liu Kang and Kitana marry, but Kang either remains Prince Consort (not royal in his own right, but married to the queen) or Kitana steps down and Jade becomes Queen
- Reptile and Khameleon have lots of cute scaly babies...awww.
- Li Mei eventually comes to her senses and tries to redeem herself (perhaps by training the next generation fighters?)
- Nightwolf marries me. Just kidding, he takes a wife from his tribe and lives out his days as shaman in relative peace...except for the camera that SOMEONE installed in his shower *whistles innocently*
- Mileena lets go of her hatred for Kitana and becomes a freelance whatever kinda like Nitara
- Nitara introduces her race to dinner...I mean the other realms.

Those are awesome ideas, all of it was good, but I especialy like these points.

Having a few current characters seize their opportunity and claim territories in the now divided / broken realm of Outworld is genius, I love it. And having Drahmin as sole ruler of the Netherealm is fantastic as well, the perfect role for him.

Though I'd prefer Kabal to emerge as the victor of the clan battle.

Now for a few ideas I'd like to see come to fruition:

Kai (now wise and strong after having had his MK4 ending come true) joins forces with Kung Lao to rebuild the Order of Light. The White Lotus is also reformed, with the best students of the temple addtionaly trained to form the secretive society. The best student in terms of natural skill is a petulant 18 year old, a prodigy of fighting prowess, but severly lacking in honour and respect for his masters. It is Kung Lao's responsibility to curb this poor attitude, and convert this negative energy for the use of good. Of course, Kung Lao tends to lead to the dark side at times, creating possibilities of conflicting alligience in the future.
Potential second new character from the White Lotus could be a young 22 year old woman, perhaps even the 18 year old's sister, sent to watch over him and direct him - but finding it continualy difficult to contend with his cocky nature.

The Centuars and Shokan fued renewed, especialy now that Outworld is in disarray. Both species want ultimate power, with King Gorbak and his son Durac involved in the conflict. Perhaps more controvesial would be if a new hybrid character came into play, a half centaur, half shokan - possibly the child of Sheeva and Motaro or something. Ok, it may sound silly, but done in the correct way, I think they could be a completely dominant character.
Of course, this child aggrivates the tension between either side immeasurably. And since Sheeva and Motaro are both dead, both sides want to claim the child as a member of their race - due to the new character having all the strengths and advantages of either species, and non of the shortcommings.

Hotaru leads an imperial guardsmen assault on the realm of Chaos, which is wholy unsuccesful, and he dies at the hands of Havik in the intro. His second in command is the sole survivor and is enslaved by the chaotic side to fight for anarchy, the ultimate punishment and torture for a member of the Seidan guard.

Shao Kahn is sent to the Nethrealm for the atrocities he committed as ruler of Outworld. He his skull crown/helmet and armour were destroyed in the Armageddon conflict and now we see his true form. He is enlisted into Drahmin's new army, while his true identity remains a secret to Drahmin and everyone else.

Fujin, in a desperate attempt to save Earthrealm form being overrun now that Raiden has disappeared, ressurects the remaining three protectors of Earthrealm. Maybe they could even unite to form one ultimate elemental godly being, who could turn evil with the new found power and invulnerability, making a potential boss / sub boss.
