Aside from XiahouDun84, I'd like to know what Tanya fans see in her that makes her so appealing.

Scorpion's MK:DA ending was Canon, I'm pretty sure, since canon says he escaped the soulnado. It just probably ripped the hell out of him first. Pun not intended. Then he healed while in the netherrealm.

Tanya's character suffers from a contaigous case of recopied story formula syndrome. In MK4, she's a traitor, cool. In MKD, she's a traitor, again. There were so many other characters to use besides her. I think Shinnok would make an excellent addition to the storyline. Seeing as how he would try to get his amulet back from the DK and would set up rivalries between several characters in the game. Tanya's just wasted character potential IMO.

Yes, his ending is cannon... but he is saved from the soulnado by the Elder Gods...

Now... back to Tranny... I mean Tanya... I think she should take on a whole new role and new look, or die.
An idea I have is to take her back to her leg techniques... I'd LOVE Midway to take a more "James Bond Evil Secretary" approach to her. She could have a very tight chinese-dress style thing, with a bg slit on the side, high heels, and riculous amounts of make-up and huge earings... almost unfit to fight. Then her neck-snapping fatality would be awsome... and a descrete yet deadly weapon would be great... like little razorblades, or a chain.. or iron nails on her fingertips... ,THAT'd be cool
Now.. her techniques... I think they should keep the kicks... but get rid of the fireballs... instead give her long range weapons... Like chocking wires like that guy from Street Fighter Ex had... or maybe even throwing blades a la Kano... hell... even little bomerangs would be cool...

Storywise... likie someone else said... her stoy is too much of the same... traitor, let in, run.... well... I was thinking... if she died or became horribly deformed during Jade's ending... she could depend on someone (deity or sorcerer) to keep her alive and beutiful.... so for once she'd be really dependant on someone... and this someone should have total control over her... and uses her as a personal assassin...

IF she where a servant to Quan Chi it'd be cool if she be the firt of a new clan of assasins working for Quan...


Now.... maybe it'd be just better to create Skarlet and give her these qualities...

Anyway, regarding the Tanya idea, it could kind of work, but I would still like to see more to her. Another question is the voice. Now, despite me hating it, it actually kind of goes well with her, imo. What I'm wondering is should her voice change? If so, what should it be like?

I actually think Tanyas voice suits her, although it could be a little different, she could be a bit posher [i always see Tanya as a posh bitch] so she could be a bit snobbier.
