Tag Teams For MK7
I know that most people liked Noob-Smoke so I was wondering if you wanted new teams in MK7. I would like to see Rain/Ermac or Smoke/Sub..... or even Sektor and Cyrax.......or goro and kintaro.Tag teams will be great,we pick our tag teams characters.
I think tag-teams should be a completely different mode. You can pick ANY two people as a tag team. For example: It could be Ermac and Rain or Ermac and Kenshi or Kenshi and Rain or Kung Lao and Havik or whatever (Note: I'm just using these people as examples, not saying that they will be in MK7).

I think tag teams as an Endurance round (meaning they each fight their way, but u can switch through the round) are a pretty good idea...
but I'd like to keep the Noob-Smoke system.... I LOVE noobsmoke!!! But I think they should bee the only combined character... or maybe Quan and Shang.l.. that's wouldn't be bad....

I wasnt a fan of the Noob-Smoke idea personally. I also dont like the idea in general of having tag-teams, in main arcade mode anyway.
But, I do think a seperate mdoe for tag team would be a good idea.
Perhaps when u took the two characters you wanted, lets say Sindel and Jade in MK:D (and the style system was still in play). The tag teams first style would be Sindel's first style, Zha Chuan, and Jade's Second style Kuo Shou. Making your team Sindel-Jade with the styles Zha Chuan and Kuo Shou.
If there was a seperate mode, perhaps also they could have pre-set tag teams as well as the option to make your own, with Character combinations like Jade/Kitana or Jade/Sindel or Sindel/Kitana or Mavado/Hsu Hao or Kobra/Kira.

Rather than tag characters, I'd like to see a good number of characters with "support" characters. Kinda like in Marvel Vs Capcom 2, you press a button combination and a support character enters the screen and does a move. Like say you're playing as Sonya, you press down, down/toward, toward 1 and 2 at the same time and Jax comes out from the side of the screen that Sonya is on and shoots his machine gun. But it'd be cool to have different kinds of moves like this. Say another combination has Jax rush in and do his ground pound or gotcha grab or even a throw or a pop up move. I don't know obviously who will be in MK7, but I think that it'd be a cool way to put characters in the game as nonplayables if they're not going to be in the game at all.
Either you could swap support characters, or maybe you just leave it as some characters having allies. Shang Tsung has Quan Chi, Darrius has Dairou, Kung Lao has Liu Kang, Noob has Smoke; the list goes on and on. Again, these are just examples.
As for a stand alone tag option, I'm all for it. I'd like to see a few types though:
2 on 2 versus (no tag): Self explanitory. Like in MK4, you select two characters, when one dies the other comes in. The second round starts with the second characters that were selected. The third round stars with the original characters.
2 on 2 Tag: I'd like to see a system that really utilizes two on two combat. Lots of tag moves and moves that involve both players at the same time (think Noob/Smoke doing the charging fist at the same time as an example). But you still tag your opponent in at any time.
3 on 3 Tag: We've seen 2 on 2 Tag in other games, so I thought that this would be a good idea to add on to that. Having a large number of 3 on 1 attacks would be sweet. Imagine having Sub Zero freezing a guy and uppercutting opponent, tagging Jax in, who grabs the opponent out of mid air and performing a back breaker, holding the opponent in place while Kung Lao flips onto the screen and slices the opponents throat with his hat! I think it would be sweet, albeit very difficult to figure out from a logistic standpoint.
What do you guys think?
Great thread man!

I think there should be a tag-team program where you can pick any two people u want.
