Tbh I hope the PS players get a different guest character. It isn't a big deal though, worst case scenario he is in and I just don't use him unless its required for a trophy(s)

I don't have Xbox but I think they might get the better exclusive guest. Anybody from KI would be cooler than Sweet Tooth to me lol if I was an XB player I would be crossing my fingers for Sabrewulf.

From a marketing standpoint, it really wouldn't do much to push sales. Including Kratos and Freddy invited an enormous fanbase (much of which overlapped with MK fans, true) to check the game out. Sweet Tooth wouldn't have that same effect; not even close. It would make more sense for them to include an MK character in a new Twisted Metal game.

Twisted Metal might not have a new game on the horizon right now, but Sweet Tooth is an iconic Playstation character. Anyone who has owned a Playstation knows Twisted Metal. And everyone who knows Twisted Metal knows Sweet Tooth.

Why does the character have to be male? Orchid should be the one to be the exclusive guest character for Xbone, if they include someone from KI.

I don't have XB I have PS but if I did have XB i would be hoping for Sabrewulf. He was the main reason I got interested in that series. He looks awesome.

The thing about Sabrewulf is his gameplan is so one dimensional. Rushdown. That's all he can do. He has no other options. Jago has zoning, and Shadow Jago which could be a completely new set of moves entirely. Fulgore has teleporting, projectiles, and rushdown. Even Orchid has her Cat she can call or whatever.

I love Sabrewulf, he's one of my mains. But for the variation system I don't think Sabes would offer any variety.

He's right I feel those that own a PS4 would love the idea of having Sweet Tooth in MKX. He's a character that can easily match the grim tone of Mortal Kombat, and a psychopathic, mass murdering killer clown would be a pretty cool addition in my opinion.

Yes for Sweet Tooth. If only we got him in MK9 instead of Kratos. I doubt ST would have received any special treatment.

I think his Chainsaw swing from PSABR should be part of his moveset, whether as a special move or part of a combo. While his entire PSABR moveset could work, I'd like it if they gave him some new moves. Maybe something involving his vehicle.

Also, DollFace wouldn't be bad as the Twisted Metal/Sony guest.

This is true, but I when I think of Twisted Metal, I think of Sweet Tooth.

I'm down with Sweet Tooth being a PS exclusive fighter. He'd be an excellent choice, given the game's tone, his iconic relationship with PS, and his overall violent nature.

I think it'd be awesome to have Sweet Tooth as the guest character. I feel like he kinda fits in the MK universe since he's such a dark and violent character. Only problem I can think of is giving him 3 different variations since without his ice cream truck he's kinda like a Michael type of butcher knife slasher villain. But I'd trust NRS to come up with something cool for him. And I'd prefer him to not be a PS4/3 exclusive character because I have a Xbone and exclusive characters aren't allowed in tournaments.

Would those calling for Fulgore accept an Eagle skin or variation in MKX? Do people want him in just because he is a cyborg?

Anyone stating that the "Playstation" group would freaking love Sweettooth as a guest character please speak for yourself.

As much as I enjoyed the series, back when it was actually enjoyable, I'd rather have the guest character spot be open to someone else. He is not my number one go to guy for a guest character for the Playstation. (And no, not Kratos either) To be honest, I don't know who I'd want to fill in the position. I said once in the Netherkast that I wouldn't mind Corvo from Dishonored to be apart of it, but of course that's not going to happen at all.

Now, if it really is Sweettooth, am I gonna throw a Freddy fit? Absolutely not, but I'm not going to immediately be interested in playing as him unless I'm convinced he'll be decent to play as. But really, I am not hyping up for a Sweettooth appearance, just because I've been disappointed in Twisted Metal for a very long time, he's not cool anymore, and I think there's other characters out there that could be better off filling this spot than him.

Sorry for all the fans out there for this character, it's just when you've been a fan of a series and seen it just collapse under a new developer who obviously never paid attention to the first two games (989 Studios, fuck you) and then it gets resurrected with a supposed "dark turn" to it and then seeing the brand new game that only has three fucking drivers driving the other well-known vehicles... Yeah.

And don't get me wrong, I know that there are other games, more so for the hand held devices, unfortunately I don't invest all of my time playing video games so I don't own hand helds.

Going off-topic a bit, but you should really give the latest installment a try. It has it's shortfalls, but overall, I found it pretty entertaining. Despite having only three characters driving all the vehicles, their stories are fairly interesting. Sadly, it doesn't have the allure of TM1 or 2, and it's a tad darker than Black, but I still enjoyed it. Sweet Tooth is just one evil SOB..

Definitely worth whatever price it's listed at these days, even just to try.

Food for thought anyways.
